a steak with lots of charcoal on it is not a good steak either, i like meat cooked but not overcooked. studies have shown charcoal causes cancer yes, but like anything in health science nothing is certain- the benefits of using charcoal to treat intestinal problems and poisioning cases are well known.

well all i know is that i wont eat raw meat, to me it looked raw. the waitress even spotted it before i said anything as did the couple in the next table. Taste is a subjective thing, i cannot stand the taste of raw meat, i rather it is thoroughly cooked. To me that is a good steak. I dont care if i eat in a pub in emerald or a flash restaurant where you're not walking out with change from $100 for a basic meal, well done should mean cooked through the whole way

well if they accept my order as 'well done' i expect to see only a hint of pink at best, not blood running out of the middle and a cooked area 2mm thick.

ahh *i smell a piker* bad luck why get a shitty gtr anyway, they always break lol. gladstone was ok, cept dinner last saturday was at this shithouse restuarant - $34 for a steak, i asked well done they bring it out rare, i send it back its burnt charcoal on the outside and STILL rare in the middle.. total rip, i'll never go back! big move is weekend after this, i start work up there on the 2nd april, so guess i move up on april fools day (appropriate )

Yes thats right i'm leaving the cultural epicentre of logan and moving to rocky for a 12 month contract. Alot more work, a bit more pay lol at least it will be a challenge. Not sure when i leave yet, but imagine it would be in 2-3 weeks time Are there any forums members from rocky? whats the scene like up there?
