unless im mistaken its the hornbrook bridge at redcliffe... i have to face that bastard twice a day when i'm working out there not a smooth surface on it... speakin of such things, anyone driven on the newly resurfaced captain cook bridge? it sucks!! almost as bad as the hornbrook now i reckon, sure the road surface is smooth but the joins are freakin bumpy, it wasnt always this way

get urself to an accountant.. even hr block /itp is the way to go. Remember depending on your job you can claim things like sun protection (i claimed sunglasses ), electronic eqipment (laptop computer for travel), car expenses as i explained earlier, all sorts of stuff. Even the cost of getting ur taxes done you get back the following year so why do it yourself?? Mind you, if i get audited or something it'll be a different story lol.

do you guys go to decent accountants? I claimed work related calls on my personal mobile- he just asked me what my average monthly bill was and ended up claiming i think 5% of that which he says is totally reasonable, i could have claimed way more. Things like this all add up.

i can basically write off alot of my car for work purposes sooo things like reasonable costs for fuel/oil, interest on my car loan, racq membership, 'maintenance' (includes mods believe it or not), insurance/rego costs, basically any car related expense is taxable for me, plus get alot back for living away expenses etc.. plus doing heaps of o/t and on call work from pay to pay period means on a busy fornight i get owned by tax but get it back when it evens out at the end of the year.. like mr T, i pity the fools that get nothing back

After a decent set of front pads for my car for street / occasional track use. Last set were bendix ultimates and i wasn't really happy with them as they put out heaps of dust and didn't really have much bite. Some have said ferodo or endless pads are ok? Where can i get them and how much have you paid?
