is it normal for the rb25 sII turbo compressor outlet flange to be different from the rb20 flange? it makes me cry. I swear all t3 flanged turbo are supposed to have a generic t3 flange on them. anyone else have this flange problem? also god damn rb motors and their stupid water lines for their turbos !!

So will i need to track down all 4 parts?? Any pics of the parts so i can get an idea of what i'm looking at?? Thanks Simon

Can anyone tell me the Nissan part number for the A pillar gauge pod they make for the S15 Silvia/200SX? I tried the local Nissan dealer but they say they can't tell me without a S15 VIN number. The gauge pod isn't for an S15, a mate is trying to adapt it to an MX6.

I search before everything i post. If in any of these 1,326 other threads which asked this exact same question there was a difinitive answer i would not have asked! I am sorry i have wasted your time! Honestly if everyone searched instead of posting to ask a question there would be no new topics on this forum! I'm going to check the timing on my RB20DET and i need to know what the base timing should be set at. It's an auto. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think this makes a difference?? Thanks Simon

To have pods on the 32 doors you would more than likely have to be fairly handy with the glass. If you or someone you know is handy with fibreglass grab a spare set of door trims from the wreckers and be creative! If you don't want to go to that extent and are really only after better sound, some decent sound deadener on the doors, focusing around the speaker area will greatly improve sound. You could also try making up a bit of MDF to mount the speaker on to get rid of some resonance as well. In the end its just another case of the more time and effort you put in the better the end result!

Does sound like an extreme fix to a wiring issue! A TT V8 would certainly be different though, possibly even a lot of fun... even though slightly inbred!

Nah still using the stock airbox with a high flow filter and a CAI. I thought the spool noise might be the bearings shitting themselves or something like that??

Is there any tell tale signs that indicate a turbo is on its way out? The reason i ask is my 32 has its original turbo on it and just lately i've noticed it becoming quite loud. Seems to be spooling a lot louder. Am i on the right track here? Or could it be something different? Maybe i'm just looking for an excuse to buy a new turbo!!

Was driving around Dubbo today (where i live ) in my 32 and i saw another 32 with a SAU sticker. HCR320. Not a local i know that for sure. Nice to see another 32 out this way though!

I had a simliar problem with my R32. Turns out the AC compressor was rooted! Made the same squeal when i turned on the AC. I just cut the belt off. That fixed it!

I don't think i want to stab a $900 pair of splits so i won't stab the speakers!!! Anyway it doesn't come from the speakers it sounds like its somewhere in the dash. And yeah its pretty useless as it can only be heard in the car! Anyone else with an R32 auto on here that has had the same thing?? Thanks Simon
