guys, just a question...do you actually think the kms done on your car is genuine?? I heard 80% of the kilometres have been tuned back so that they can fetch a higher price in Japan. Any of you have real genuine service log books on your cars? How long can the RB25DET engine run for? will it blow after 100,000kms? Jordan's car sounds a little scary though...

Guys, thank you so much for helping me with this dilenma..i personally feel that even though the S15 might be a newer model (2001-2002) the R33 S2 (1996-1998)..but am i right to say that Skylines are actually the "flagship" sports car for nissan?? I am well aware that S15 gear boxes have a few issues, some of my friends with the S15s says they would change the S15 gear box to a 5 speed gear box from either an S14 or the R33 gearbox. May i ask if there are any potential problems with an R33 S2 GTST? I totally agree that if i splash out close to $30K on the S15, i will not have any money left for mods. So which means if i pay close to $19k for my skyline, i will still at least have $8k to mod it, will the $8k of mods be enough to achieve very high power?? Please advise, thanks guys.

Hi guys, just want to see what are the top gear speeds in different GTSTs... 1st Gear = ???? KM/H in ???? RPM 2nd Gear = ???? KM/H in ???? RPM 3rd Gear = ???? KM/H in ???? RPM 4th,5th....no reverse gear thanks...=)

guys just a newbie question, if people change their fuel pumps, it would mean more fuel into the engine for the it to run at higher power right? so does that mean it'll consume more petrol in the end??

hi guys, just wondering how good are the stock alarm and immobiliser in the R33 1998 Series 2 are? Are they good enough to prevent theft or should i upgrade to the Viper Alarm system? Cheers

has anyone raced an S15 before?? how did you guys go?? really in a dilenma now..i'm thinking getting the cheaper R33 GTST instead of the JDM S15 and use the money saved to mod the skyline. Does this sound like a good idea?? need opinions guys..thanks

I'm just wondering how's the skyline on long trips on the freeway like from Melbourne - Sydney and Sydney - brisbane...Does the skyline feel stable still or getting shaky? At 110km/h, how high does it rev and how's the fuel consumption like? I know the fuel consumption thread has been covered before, please dont flame me...thanks for your help. Cheers

the bad part about S15 is that it's pretty small..i'm a tall bloke at 6ft 4...i think the skyline fits me better...

well lastly it all comes down to power...the S15 is much lighter than skylines..but skylines if i'm not wrong has more power stock than the S15..i know this topic might have been covered before, i dunno how to use the search option... Is R33GTST faster than S15?

Guys, have a problem here..just need some advice..i have been waiting since June for a nice japanese performance car...i was choosing between the R33 GTS25T and the S15 JDM...right now the JDM is taking ages to come from japan. Firstly, the JDM is going to be really cheap because i am getting it from a friend in Japan who owns the JDM..however it is still going to cost more than a R33 plus i will not be able to test drive it... I didn't want the skyline because i thought they are pretty old and might have problems...but right now..i feel that i really need a car fast because it is very inconvenient...Can someone tell me in what ways are the R33 GTS25T S2 better than the JDM S15?
