    Apparently you can use a VL turbo to dump gasket as it is the same, can anyone confirm this?

    Is it something that needs to be purchased direct from Nissan? I was thinking about using a gasket type sealant on it as well if its ok to re-use.

    I'm about to replace the dump/front pipe with an aftermarket one on RB20DET, does the gasket between the turbo and dump pipe need to be replaced? Can it be re-used?

    Yesterday it all seemed to work ok, the only other thing is the AMB air temp button read 20 deg the other night and it was freezing cold. Today it said 13 deg and it wasn't all that cold.

    Where is this valve located?

    The other night if was cold as so i went to put the climate control on, turned up the temp to 32 degress and waited for hot air to come out, waited, waited, nothing, the only thing coming out was cold air. I was using the heater a couple of nights before and it seemed to be working fine. Everything else work fine as far as i'm aware of, has anyone incurred this problem before?

    I just purchased a front/dump pipe all in one. So my exhaust system will be as follows:- 3' dump/front pipe -> standard cat -> 3' straight pipe out to the back

    I purchased one of the justjap.com ones last week, dump/front pipe all in one, as pictured above. Should be interesting to see what difference it makes.

    The cat back is a 3" straight pipe straight to the back with a single resinator in between.

    On a RB20DET, i've currently got a hollowed out Cat converter on my car and i'm about to replace it with another standard Cat that isn't hollowed out. What sort of power decrease is expected?

    Its an atmo BOV, all plumback lines have been blocked up. How is having it to tight making it pulse?

    Happens even now and then after taken it out of gear, then braking for a red light, etc. I was under the bonnet the other day and rev'd the car up a few times to see if the BOV was closing properly. It didn't open and close straight away, it opened ok but closed in pulses instead of one continuous movement.
