don't know the answer to your question but i wouldn't pay for another inspection, especially if the car went over as is only a few days earlier... f*cking feel sorry for you man having it broken into and everything then having to source all the parts then to have this happen to you, quite unfair... should have what station they are from on the work order copy they gave you... and yeah, ask to speak to the senior sergeant... think the easiest way is to call the operator then ask for the station and once you talk to them ask for senior sergeant? *shrugs*

sweet, will check it out... thing is, two places i know that will have those signs would be Tarocash and Roger David... was 2IC at Tarocash in Murray Street for 10-11 months then moved to Roger David in Joondalup as their first casual when Uni started (did that for 6 months)... don't know if there's any more men's fashion retailers there... i don't suit working at places like Adidas or Nike either... and i hate working with food, deal with that every Sunday at my aunty's Lunchbar and my sister is opening a place soon too, hate working with food

had a chat to the painter today, he said it would look nice but if i want to do the pinstripe idea i would have to end up doing the rest of the car... well i don't HAVE to but he said that he refuses to do my car if i don't do the rest because there will be some chipping or something (he used some word) and the paint won't blend through properly, so depending on how much money i can get will decide if i can do the pinstripe idea... as for the initial idea, looks like i'm doing the bonnet, boot and rims... leaving the mirros CF... good enough? i'll need at LEAST another whole grand to do the roof with pinstripe idea and thinking about it that's not a lot compared to getting a whole new look, i just can't bloody afford it right now

guys, i went and saw my painter today... getting fully specified and detailed quote tomorrow... going to get Guy and Leo sorted and whoever wants to get an awesome price just let me know and i can try my best to sort it out... if you guys could please pm me your numbers Callan and Benzo just let me know and let's get the ball rolling... the more guys with the same coloured cars the cheaper it will cost, even if you want black paint it will still be cheaper, let me know cheers Andrew

getting brand new ones, super cheap... everyone is telling me to keep them CF so i think that's what i might be doing... i drive an R34... has a sharper roof than the R33? well looks like i might exclude the roof unless i do the top half of the car... thanks for the opinions Mike, as for everyone else that hasn't commented, please do... looking forward to seeing what you guys have to say, cheers, Andrew

lol mine it 2 door and where the hell would i find one of those to buy? been looking but can't find... i don't mind painting the boot, i have to anyway after Rhys and I ripped out the wing i believe it's left holes that need to be welded bahaha

the Civic's front bar is an R32 GTR one isn't it...? anyway the canards look a bit short on that particular Civic but if you look closely the the flared front fenders is why they are short... if your car has stock fenders and the canards are obviously longer than it should look alright... it's all about the length dude just post up some pictures once you got them up and running, and don't expect everyone to have positive comments man it's just the way sh*t is my2c

thanks for the response Ash... thing is, my paint is standard white, i can't afford to paint the WHOLE car... decided i should paint because i got into a fight with a pole in the carpark when all of us went to Outback Jacks a few weekends ago... won't be able to afford pearl, so what now? can get CF GT Wing... but i want it to be wingless... think it looks sweet like that

yeah true, my painter has quoted me wicked price though i don't think we can find cheaper... my uncle is a sprayer (well dad's best mate) and quoted me some prices and they were sh*t house compared to the guy i'm going through to get ready for Salon, no wonder he can afford his new 5 series *shakes head*

oh about that Rhys... i think i'll be going to your's, i don't have any tools, or a garage that has enough room to do any work and Hamish... yeah they are CF but i think they will stand out too much (up-close) compared to the black... if only i could afford CF Bonnet and Boot, then i'd keep it CF but a full time uni student that's just quit their job = no $$$ keep em coming folks

hey guys, car is going into the shop for some paint approximately three weeks from now... kit is arriving (or should do) by the end of next week... so, to cut a long story short; my car is white (whole car) and i was thinking about doing a typical 'Panda' spec style coordination with my car, the thing is... i don't know what to paint black!!! i know for certain that my wheels are getting painted black, they are already chrome with a tiny bit of lip and i will leave the lip polished but paint all the spokes, from this; http://www.californiacustoms.ch/cc/images/z18.jpg to this; http://www.fwt.net.au/store/images/P/tn_zinik_z18_blk-01.jpg my initial idea was to paint the mirrors (already Carbon Fibre Ganadors that i'm picking up tomorrow) black, the Vented Bonnet black and the Bootlid black (not the whole boot, just the top part... kind of like the Mine's R34 GTR) as seen here; http://images.superstreetonline.com/featur...e_rear_view.jpg then i thought the car would look funny if the mirrors were black and the roof was white so i thought i might paint the mirrors and the roof black and leave the bonnet and the boot white with the rims still how i want them... THEN i considered doing the bonnet, roof, mirrors AND boot black and then probably have to do a two tone kind of thing and have the top half of my car black divided by a nice stripe of some sort... (the strip would be above the door handle) possibly airbrushed on, again with the rims still black... i was just wondering what kind of opinions you could all give me as i would really appreciate what you guys out there think is 'hot' and what is 'not' and before i finish off i KNOW that there will be many comments (maybe less now that i mention it) that the car is mine and i should do it as to how i please but the thing is i'm unsure, all these options have run through my mind and i just want to see how other Skyline enthusiasts weigh up such choices... all comments will be GREATLY appreciated though i would like to see negative ones at a minimum... i will state however that the option at the top of my list was my very first thought to just paint the bonnet, bootlid, mirrors and wheels... i'm going to call you tomorrow in regards to this dude... maybe we can get it cheaper if we both paint our cars at the same time at the place i'm getting it done etc. stress less, thing is... did you want it done before or after the pits?

yeah that's alright, cruise looks like it'll definitely be after the 18th... as for dinner and cruise or whatever... i think if we do the coastal drive then finish somewhere nice for dinner that would just top it off... now for more specific details to organise and Mark it seems like your idea of a map is great... will look into it a bit more, i want to have a tunnel run, will be awesome hehehe

Julz mate is that Stef's [D34THROW]'s V SPEC II? if so mate i'll just call him and ask him where he got it from, he doesn't have cheap parts though... the carbon fibre brackets that allow the stock wing to sit higher set him back $1200 lol if you want dude i'll ask him for you Andrew
