lol oh yeah, about your sms man when are you free? i'll give you a call after my last exam on Wednesday and we can sort something out dude, much appreciated and i can't bloody wait hehe
  2. yeah make it two separate dates then... come on Steve show us your skills (not that you haven't already)
  3. i just had an idea and don't know how this is going to sound BUT... the coastal cruise that i want to run, is anyone here interested in making one we can film? thing is, we can do it so that we can have a nice drive, get filmed at the same time and it'll all be fun and games? or like does the filming and placing of the camera etc. take a lot of hard work/time/effort? (ie. with the cameraman having to get to the location before the drivers etc....) just an idea is all
  4. weak Kelvin... we'll make the practice run before, then we'll do the proper one after... so Kelvin and all the other peeps that need extra time can come no problems it doesn't have to be so soon after exams, we'll cater for everyone, also gives us time to make a good cruise too (better than a dinner cruise without a map right?)
  5. then do AutoSalon with me you slacker, we'll get the URAS b*tches out to model our sexy f*cking cars bahaha mind you, my car won't be ready for a good month at LEAST!
  6. awesome responses guys and i'm sure to let you guys all know how it's going to go.. if some of you are not busy after exams and free before the cruise we'll do a practice run together.. will be good, so dates and places? oh yeah Vincent, don't worry man if your car is not ready to can take my car for a few legs if you want, umm... just don't crash it please haha and Rhys, i know your timetable too well, not being able to lend me and Leo a torch at 12pm isn't good enough hahaha kidding
  7. Ryan, you know you have no choice when it comes to showing off your R34
  8. just letting you know... the police don't have to have their sirens on to speed... i know it offends some people, just the way the law is... seen a few officers turn their sirens on and speed through a few red lights and then turn them off and drive normally, lol a few times seriously, don't know why... for a laugh haha i'd do it if i was a cop... anyway, i say do it for fun, and like Rhys said post it up for all of US to see... take it from there
  9. thanks Dan, my apologies... Murdoch i have no idea when they finish, my last one is on the 11th... we'll make it late June then? come on people keep the ideas coming! oh yeah, i will be running the legs before the cruise is official, but just want route ideas is all... come on guys! oh Vincent, will try to cater for your car as well, haven't seen your ride since a few months ago, you never come out ever
  10. hey guys... after exams i'm sure most you guys (the one's doing exams) would want to ease yourself with possibly a nice, coastal, afternoon cruise with lunch or something..? now for the peeps not doing exams, possibly come with and meet people you haven't met before or catch up with old buddies... anyway, the reason i'm posting up this thread is just as an expression of interest; WHO wants to go WHERE would people want to go WHEN would everyone want to go... please just post up your ideas here, moderators i would like as many people as possible to spot this thread and only move it into the 'EVENTS' area once we have decided on a specific date to hold the event... oh yeah, would people want to go for a small lunch to catch up on and then go for the cruise, NOR to SOR or vice versa so people can leave if they know where the cruise is going or whatever... AND if anybody has ran an awesome cruise lately and if they have ideas on a possible map etc... something to think about for everyone, no restriction to who wants to come but i would like to keep it as an SAU cruise, if you have good friends with performance cars as well they are more than welcome to come... just want to keep the standards of the possible to cruise to a high... don't really want any sh*tters to represent an SAU spec cruise... all comments welcome, but i wouldn't appreciate any offensive/sh*tty comments as i'm sure a few people here would agree with me... please, it's just a suggestion and would love to hear from you all, cheers, Andrew
  11. where did you get these LED's? Mr Mark...? don't invite me to get some *grumpy face*
  12. Steve's wheels FTW, they are hot!
  13. thanks mate, great comments... keep them coming fellas!
  14. haha Mark yeah i was talking to Leo about this, at least 15 guys i reckon to start off with have R34's but i mean i don't want something that excludes other Skyline owners you know? i don't know, like i mentioned before, there will have to be massive thought put into this before anything develops, good luck to it all... in saying that i would proudly be a part of such development
  15. thing is, all EVO's are divided into chassis style... EVO I/II/III all have the same chassis and look similar EVO IV/V/VI have the same concept EVO VII/VIII/IX - you get the picture... headlights and tail-lights are basically nearly all the same... body too, tiny enhancements as the cars develop... they have many more models than Skylines do in that way... ie. how R34 has non-turbo, single turbo and twin turbo... (similar to 7/8/9) blah blah blah, look i'm getting ready for exams okay but you know the deal
  16. thanks for the input dude but i don't want to know about their services, i wish i was in NSW to talk to them but i just need to know what their products are like... no use waiting a week or so patiently to find out the stuff doesn't fit and have to muck around with the parts... wastes my time getting ready for the show... getting really agitated, never thought buying body parts could be so much to think about on the topic though, anybody know where i can buy Ganador's for R34? mate had R32 pair for sale, no chance they would fit lol
  17. want to hear something f*cked up with insurance? i pay $2997 premium per year, find out for the hustle my car had with a pole on Sunday car will cost (in excess) over $3500 to repair... only reason to have full comprehensive is just in case your car gets written off in my opinion, insurance = ghey
  18. hey mate, i go to Murdoch Uni along with a few peeps on here, great place to go so just let your missus know that... she'll be very happy... as for yourself and where to live, hhrrmm... i'm NoR (North of River, SoR - South of River, terms used plenty here in Perth) and Murdoch is SoR so i don't know too many places close by but a lot of people live in Canning Vale if you want to be close, don't know how good of an area that is though bahaha... although, Booragoon and Applecross are very close and of high standards if you want to live somewhere nice, they're quite good examples of nice places to live near Murdoch... and of course you can live in Murdoch haha as for your car, just bring it into a compliance workshop if you really love your car and want to keep it (something to keep in mind before i go on, cars over east are generally cheaper than those here in perth) anyway... somewhere like Imports101, give them a call and ask if they would be able to help you return the car to stock and get it registered here, they should also put all the modifications back on so it seems as if though you car hasn't changed since moving from Adelaide... their details: Imports101 1/25 Forward St East Victoria Park Western Australia 6101 Phone: (08) 9355 5101 Fax: (08) 9355 5102 Mob: 0403 065 666 well, sorry for ranting on too long but i hope you have a safe trip here and all the best... also look forward to welcoming another member into SAUWA soon, take care andrew
  19. don't bother asking Leo hey hahaha yeah we'll see how this thing progresses hey, if my car is ready by AutoSalon i'll be advertising and hopefully it sells then R33 GTR time hehe... in saying that, there should be a GTR owners club somewhere around here?
  20. lol i have NO idea what TurboX was talking about... as for Billy's suggestion, surprisingly enough it has been discussed by some R34 owners before... to have an R34 club... just like Perth-S15... as for R34's going to cruises, i know at least 10 that would join, thing is... it would be nowhere near as active as SAU and nor with the forums be umm... i don't think useful... as for having a mini-club and cruises on a regular basis it is not a bad idea, thing is... it might be offensive to others out there that DON'T own R34's... and what happens to the folk that sell their R34's but want to remain in the club and end up buying other cars? will they be allowed to attend in their new car? it all gets complicated, just saying, if you want to organise something like this it's not a bad idea at all... you'll just need to put heaps of effort and thought into it... oh yeah, to the comments EVO's eat GT-T's... WHY DID EVERYBODY TELL ME TO KEEP MY GT-T WHEN I COULD'VE GOT MY BROTHERS TME THEN!?!?! come on, TME 6.5 is better package than EVO VII *shakes head* lol
  21. H3 Hummer used to think they were hot, never anymore... V35 Skyline if you can't afford an R34 GTR R34 GTR if you CAN afford an R34 GTR... the decision you have to make is not that difficult, not if it was mine anyway... good luck, awesome selection of cars so doesn't look like you can fail in anyway, once again, good luck Andrew
  22. hey guys, i'm getting ready for AutoSalon (PERTH - 26th of July) and i'm running out of time, have ordered a kit from a sponsor and got told i should go to another sponsor and then also got told i should use Carmate... OKAY now i would love EVERYBODY'S opinion... what is the fitting and quality like of Carmate's products, in particular, those of the R34 (ordering URAS/BN Sports kit)... i don't want anybody to say good or bad things about other workshops/manufacturers/or the like i just want opinions on the quality of [CARMATE]'s products... those with experiences please share as i'm looking to purchase ASAP cheers, Andrew
  23. lol panel beater suggests he can work with fibreglass quite well... will have to wait and see... i'm also thinking Silvia Products may have different moulds and maybe not as strong or specific as the Skyline ones... funkymonkey seems to have had good experiences with them?
