trying to organise a cruise to milton one thursday soon.
it is open to all import owners and lovers from "the swich". B)
pm me for details of time, date, meeting spot, etc and also suggestions.
cheers
-
yer make it 8pm and we'll have a chat and meet everyone first.
anyone else from 'the swich' want to come. meet at a couple locations along the way i guess. not limited to skylines obviously as i'll be in a rb powered 180sx.
maybe we should start an individual thread?
-
i was thinking the one across the road (on th eriver side) where the construction site huts are set up.
can fit more cars there (fingers crossed).
any other takers?
cheers
-
sweet, 2nd march sounds good. anyone else keen?
would be good to meet fellow import drivers in the swich.
any ideas of where to meet up? st mary's carpark?
-
yer it is pretty gay!
theres a few skylines around.
we should all meet up one thursday nite and cruise into milton or the swich or something.

15k km's since conversion or 15k km's on engine??
cos it has 90k on car and 10 less on engine.
dude before got engine put in and i've only done approx 8k km's so would have only done 15-20k km's.
conversion looks pretty neat, professionally done, etc. car is tight.
cheers for your thoughts extacy.
anyone else with thoughs? anyone keen to buy? i will try to take some photos and load them.
-
yer seen the one with the gold mags. looks trick!!
i hope you still have gts25t badges or no badges.
why is that dude a wanker? just cos he's a try hard?
-
the vg30 turbo will bolt straight onto a rb25 manifold wont it?
-
i dont lap often either but i've seen you round i think just thort you may have seen us.
-

-

dude i live in woodend and i've seen it round. mostly seen it driving in town on a thurs nite.
pretty sure its a gtst with a kit and spoiler cos the gaurds arent pumped.
could be wrong but i'm pretty sure its a gtst. nice car tho.
theres a few black r33s round ipswich (seen bout 4). also pretty sure that '600HP' is a gtst.
what car you drive? should meet up sometime in the 'switch'
-
who keeps letting the commonwhore wankers onto this site. nah sorry, probly after a little more than $5. maybe for your rustbucket VB peice of sh!t . try round $17k.
will try to add some pics mate
come on guys. whats the approx goin rate?
-
come on fellas. dont be scared. whip out the cash and clean me out.
-
*r32 crossmember should be fine as are used to put both rb20's and rb25's in s13's
*tail shaft will be a different length, as the rb20 and rb25 gearboxes are different lengths.
* dont see a problem with using the rb20 dump pipe as the turbo/dump flanges are the same on rb20 and rb25

Yo, just a thought here but would you consider going down an exhaust housing size? i assume you have the .86 housing on your GT25R if it is the 450hp version? I have the 400hp version with the 0.64 housing on an RB20 & find the spool pretty reasonable for the size of the turbo. i im getting boost build from 3000rpm with full boost (currently only 12psi due to injectors maxing out & not being tuned) at 3800rpm. which was enough to make 195kw atw. I have no doubt that this setup once tuned should make 230-240kw atw using 18psi. if your aim is only 220kw atw then i would definately change to the smaller exh. housing as that amount of lag is not worth it for that power output.
Peace.
yer would definitly go the 0.64 exhaust housing on the 20. the 0.86 seems to be as you described, 'laggy'. i think the 0.64 is a much better matched turbo to the rb20. try 'quincy777' as i believe he has a gt28rs (0.64) on his rb20.

From what i've been reading I have a suspicion that my car needs a decent tune.. Because she won't make even 0.5 of a bar at say 4200 rpm...Anyone recommend a good place to get a dyno tune on the gold coast?
although i havent been there myself. my mate took his car to PITS on the gold coast and was very pleased with his result.
