As far as I am aware, the S13 CA18DET used a T25, the S13 SR20DET a T25G and the S14's used the T28, which then became ball bearing in the late S14's?

nah, two tone silver, no kit, no rear spoiler, just 17" wheels.

it wasn't a standard turbo on my motor, CA 18. ... I know it's a T25G or a T28, but am sure it's T28. Thanks

is there any way of telling? I am 95% sure it's a T28...

I got mine done throught REVS in QLD, car checked out..........then I got it and the motor was shafted. Sometimes you just cant win, sorry to hear about that though, especially after what you put into it.

pics yet to come, got another CA - for the price of an SR, I would have bought an RB25! New motor, new clutch, new turbo. I am unable to spend a cent on it for a while now.

I put a T28 BB turbo into my Silvia, the turbo I took out looks identical, the only difference is one number.... The marking on the (not standard) turbo I took out of my car : Garrett A/R60 M24 1-2 And the T28BB I put in, it was Garrett A/R60 M24 1-1 The turbos look identical and I want to sell the one I took out, what is it and what should I expect to get for it? Thanks guys.

basically I got it, started it and knew something was off. 2 quotes, both said to get another motor, then the clutch was slipping and there was oil throughtout the intercooler.

bought it about a month and a half ago. New motor, new clutch so I thought a new turbo. Man was I pissed off when I got it!

Well guys, it won't be long now and I will head up from hobart to launnie one night in the silvia........engine in this week with me old mate a T28BB, should be fun.

here's the thing........someone on ebay has one for $750. But there is also a HKS 3037 S 56T on ebay cheap at the moment... Just wanting to know what the best turbo is between $500 - &750 for a CA18DET with FMIC, boost controller, POD, Dual Dump pipe, 3" exhaust but no ecu mods is and if the T28 for $750 is not overpriced?

cheers, how much would you expect to pay for one new and second hand? I am looking at a second hand one off an S15 that has travelled 20000kms.

what is a good price to pay for a second hand T28 Ball Bearing Turbo off an S15? Is it a worthy turbo for the CA18DET motor? (Silvia S13) I need to know asap as my motor arrives monday to be put in

funnily enough it's just the hoses, the clamps are old and not doing up tight enough and after 2 minutes of driving the hoses blow right off.......off to get new clamps. Thanks for the help guys.

Ok, I pulled off my fmic piping which is bits of pipe and elbows of rubber pipe - painted the piepwork and put it back on........now my turbo doesn't work, the car severly misses like it will die if I put my foot down. Any help asap would be much appreciated.

has anyone in hobart seen the chameleon gold GTI-R or even a yellow one I saw tonight on the way home from work, they do come up a treat.

well it's due here tuesday (ish) next week, I can't wait and I am sure I will enjoy it, for a while until I want to put in an RB25 with lots more grunt, but I imagine it will go well for what it is and condition wise I believe it's pretty damn well looked after.
