  1. hey mate .. just curious if you'll sell the boss kit seperately as i already have a momo wheel? thanks
  2. hey guys. just hoping you could help me out.. i have to adjust/replace shims on the '26' cos its rattley still and in the process i have to remove the cams (again)... a friend of mine said he thought the rb20 cams are possibly an upgrade?? pls set the record straight - whether it would be worth swapping cams? thanks
  3. hey there another common problem apart from those already mentioned is that if the steering wheel has been removed, and the hicas steering angle sensor isn't set at the correct position, the computer will think you're driving in circles doing whatever speeds, and so will put up the light to say there must be a malfunction.. its possible.. my gtr was like it when i got it...
  4. hey guys i've found the easiest way of doing the filter without removing hicas crap is by actually removing the intercooler/intake hose... it gives heaps of room to get your left arm/hand in there and undo it etc... good luck.
  5. hey mate. just finished putting the 26 back together in mine part including new (oversize nissan) pistons/rings, n1 bearings, n1 oil pump, tomei block restrictor (needed for the n1 pump), n1 gasket kit, gates timing belt. total cost approx. $2900 (trade price - add 10% otherwise) good luck
  6. hey guys i've finally got the 32r back together and running.. the only problem is that when a mate had the sump draining (upside down off the motor) he didn't realise we hadn't drained the front diff oil and is spilled onto the ground.. the filling bung is stuck solid and we broke 2 breaker/knuckle bars trying to remove it to fill the diff.. my question is can i drive it at 110km/h (which i need to to get it back home) with removing the 4WD fuse so it'll just be spinning with no load? p.s the guy who accidently drained it out is a qualified mechanic (very good - 20yrs experience) and he says it'll be fine if i drive it smoothly not thrashing it... just want a 2nd opinion... any help would be great
  7. hey bud.. the adjuster for the p/s pump is on the underside of the pump itself there is a 12mm lock bolt (faces the same way as the motor) that you need to undo maybe a turn or two just to get some slack, then undo the adjuster bolt, also 12mm i think (its maybe 3-4inchs long and faces the side of the motor).. and loosen the adjuster bolt as well as pushing the passenger side of the pump down to slacken the belt.. viola!! all of this is easier if you have the rubber intercooler hose and airbox pulled out (if its stock/ish)... good luck mate
  8. hey bro .. very neat indeed.. just a quick question.. are your h/lights the n1 version.. just they have a diff. look to my stock 32r ones..
  9. hey mate.. yeah the mains thrust bearings go in the middle...
  10. hey guys.. im interested but not 100% sure >> im still rebuilding the rb26 (spun a big end b.) so im broke aswell!! haha.. thanks for all the info guys.. ill be in it as long as all goes to plan...
  11. yeah.. i've just had a look and the boost restrictor (little brass plug with a 3mm hole in it??) is still in the line around a yellow stripe... i had it dynoed at 250hp at the rear wheels on standard boost! ill look into getting a high flow cat.. i read in zoom that the standard one is quite good though... either way.. thanks heaps guys
  12. yeah thanks guys.. good info for us... any possible cheap upgrades that one would recommend?
  13. Hey all I have an r32 gtr and want some advice on how to keep it within the 'stock' limits... so far it has a k&n a/f, x-force dumps & front pipe, std cat, and blitz nur cat-back sys. without the x-force pipes etc on it, it made 250rwhp (184rwkw) on standard boost.. hoping for 270rwhp with the x-force gear on it.... will i need to change the exhaust etc before selling it (within 2yrs) to be able to advertise as a nice, stock example?? any help would be great..
  14. hey danny if the 'n1' turbos are correct (p/no. 14411 08U80) im very interested and will trade my r32 gtr turbos (x2) for yours with a cash adjustment on my behalf of $500 subject to the sale of my commodore... ill keep you updated.... thanks
  15. hey there im interested in the brembo discs.. i'd like to know the width of them as mine are undersize.. also, how old are the turbo's? any specific reasons for upgrade/replace?
