Hey guys, my stock turbo is blowing smoke and its time has come i think. So im after a turbo that will support around 200 rwkw as its not going to be a race car ... and i dont want to spend an arm and a leg ... something like a t28 bb or something ? if anyone has any suggestions or selling one ? i'd like to retain the stock manifold as cash is a bit short right now? ok opened all of them up and took the carbon bits and springs out ... they were filled with TONS of crap ... washed it all over and over and cleaned them all good .. replaced the missing one with just a spring i found lying around ... and its all sweet :-) running all good now much better then before. Will upgrade to spitfire coil packs later down the track but its all good for now!

lol. i'd definately know if i had an rb25 but ... what other explanation could there be? can 33 coil packs be used on an rb20?

you're saying they dont have the steel bit attached to the spring? cuz mines a gtt and it does have them

rb20, yes its the bottom with the rubber hose disconnected

its not just the spring, its the metal bit as well. Can i buy coils seperately from a wrecker or something so i dont have to buy all 6?

Hey guys, i was in the process of changing plugs when i noticed this ... the little thing with the spring at the back bounced out and i couldnt find it, im assuming that the car's not driveable with it? regardless, I dont want to risk trying. Can someone tell me if i can get just that part somehow? or do i have to buy a whole new second hand coil pack? Also, another one of these had just the spring inside when i opened it up ... and it was like that from before ... and the car was still driving pls help, car's off road and i need to drive tommorow! I'm located in pascoe vale p.s. yes yes i know my thumb twists in a weird way, but so does jessica alba's

its not backlash, its just a clunk noise that sometimes happens when you're disengaging the clunk. The car is perfectly driveable and this has no effect on gearshifts etc. You cant hear it but you can feel it. I have priced the car seeing as it has that fault. The only other fault i forgot to mention is a screaming sound that comes from the engine bay on boost. I guess thats a manifold gasket leak? again, doesn't affect driveability as the car goes pretty alright:) but you might want to get the gasket changed ... or change it yourself if you know a bit about cars.

some more info : car has tints ... is 173,xxx genuine km's ... lowered as well and clutch was recently replaced. Also has rego till 05/09. I've had quite a few pm's for swaps and offers as well ... please note that 8.5k is a very reasonable price for it and it'll be hard bringing me down lower then that. Also to add, the car has never seen redline with me ... i barely took it over 6.5k revs ... never thrashed ... and the last owner was a very mature professional as well. It still has the manuals etc .. and an emergency flashbang or something as well haha

Bought it 4 or so months ago ... has plenty of rego and was recently RWC'd. theres a slight dent near the front indicator which i will repair before selling ... other than that the car is one of the cleanest r32's I've seen around. Very good base for someone looking to modify. Mods include: Boost controller set at 14 psi ( AFR etc recently checked on a dyno ) Nice sounding exhaust (3 inch cat back or turbo back, not sure) front and rear strut bars apexi pod filter mp3 headunit lowered as well i think Apexi boost gauge sports steering wheel (not in pic) Pager alarm The only problem with the car is that theres a slight clunk sometimes when releasing the clutch which just needs adjustment i think. I'm happy to assist you with getting any tests etc done on it. Genuine reason for sale ... you can do whatever test etc you want. I would prefer a swap with any car that does not attract alot of attention but doesn't look like i borrowed it from my mum for the day. Anything decent on petrol and cheap to insure. Turbo's are out of the question i guess If someone wants to buy it ... I would be looking at offers over $8500. I'll put details on rego and km's etc soon as well. The car can be viewed in pascoe vale anytime after business hours or on the weekends. Please no negative comments ... i'll be putting it up on carsales soon as well. An inspection won't disappoint

well if it gets TOO cold we'll start driving back i guess haha! but 4 people in one 4wd shouldn't be THAT unbearable imo. We'll start the car for a 20 mins or so with the heater on if its gets too bad

nah well there should be a bit of night life I've decided to rent a 4wd and get aLOT of blankets and sleep in the car ... just worried about a place I can have a shower and get ready in the morning? ideas?

well we're not really the skiing/snowboarding type ... maybe just get a plastic plate and slide down a little hill but thats about it going more for the experience / scenery / snow man creation / snow fights kinda thing checked wotif, didnt find anything there really. if i stay in mansfield, is there snow there or will i have to drive further up towards buller? how far is buller from mansfield? thx

ok, never been to the snow ... EVER! I've got annual leave next weekend so want to go down on saturday and come back sunday night. I've called around 25 hotels since last week ... no rooms tried mt buller and hotham. Just thought i'd ask here for any advice / tips / tricks ... don't want to miss another season. There's 4 of us ... and we're willing to spend upto 500 a night all up thanks in advance!

I'm looking for a "foot in the door" role in IT. and yes i know saying IT is pretty broad ... so i'll narrow it down to troubleshooting applications, installing / reinstalling software/hardware ... aaaaaaaanything except programming cuz my interests lie in everything but programming again, I can't help being unclear ... because I dont have a clear knowledge of how this industry works.
