  1. bump, cash offers also accepted!
  2. and an old pic ... looks the same, pretty sure its lowered as well. It comes up brand new after a wash! *** THE CAR IS IN VIC MODS, DUNNO WHY THIS HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE WA SECTION???? ***
  3. 170xx km's ... black color, tr43 brand new turbo a few months ago, safc(not installed) new clutch, power steering just overhauled (1200 bux!), good tyres, stock wheels, full exhaust done, clean interior, 12 inch sub with amp and mp3 player, apexi boost gauge, dr drift chip, sway bars back and front, HICAS lock bar professionally installed, apexi air filter with custom aluminium intake pipe and a few other things here and there ... No major problems with the car ... happy to get a roadworthy. I would be chasing around the 9k mark or something around similar value. Rego JUST paid as well. Its running 9 psi right now as I haven't gotten round to putting the safc in and getting it tuned but it should make decent power with the new turbo once tuned and if you put some injectors in.
  4. Hey, just wondering is someone's looking to swap (straight or with cash my way) with my r32? I'm over the whole jap scene (workin full time) and i rarely drive now ... work 2 mins from home. I would prefer something comfortable and reliable (newer holdens etc) Mine's got a few mods here and there ... but overall very nice and tidy. I'll fix any issues I see before we swap... If someones interested I can post pictures etc?
  5. I'm actually not THAT sad considering the car's running so much better and also, after a year of thinking the car's steering is just a bit heavier and not having driven a skyline before ... its HEAVEN steering the car but yea could've done the exact same work for 500 if i pointed the thing out earlier. Now to get to the real mods SAFC put in and tuned to 14 psi
  6. ok so $1300 later, i have the pump and an exhaust leak fixed lesson for other people out there, if there's a problem with your power steering (being too hard) ... its your PUMP!
  7. they said it is the pump ... $200 plus install :(
  8. Yes I do actually, damn I should've read up on it a bit more, oh well lock bar won't hurt i guess i'll get the pump checked out soon thanks for ure help
  9. no I assumed its the HICAS since the light kept turning on and off and the steering got really heavy all of a sudden. I'll tell them to have a look at the pump if the wheel alignment doesn't help.
  10. just got it back, the HICAS light isn't on and the steering feels exactly the same as before (very hard, sorta like no power steering) ... i know i need to get a wheel allignment done but will that make a huge difference all of a sudden? i thought it would be fixed by now
  11. one of the workshops from the recommended section agreed to install it today. bit pricey (quoted 260 for installation only, i had my own lock bar) but that includes around 80$ of banjo fittings and hoses to reroute the hoses into the power steering pump instead of blocking the lines (which puts less pressure on the pump apparently). Hopefully the jobs done good, picking the car up around 5ish today.
  12. where on earth is that lol
  13. meh, I'm doing it cuz my HICAS is fkd ... I'm driving the car without power steering (hard as for the last 4 months now!)
  14. Yea I read the DIY tute but i really don't have the time with work and all ... Shakeil sounds good ... who's he?
  15. Anyone wanna do it for me for a charge? cbf going to a mechanic and leaving the car there . Im in box hill!
  16. Hey guys, I've got an r32 drivers side motor w/assembly. The only problem was my steel wire inside the assembly broke in half so i had to buy a complete unit, if your motor is blown, this would be perfect for you. any offer over 50 gets it (A wrecker quoted me 110 for just the motor!) Cheers,
  17. Guy's i rolled my window down yesterday and heard a bang and the window dropped to the bottom of the door! opened it all up today and turns out the steel wire running through the loops in the power window assembly (if you've opened the door up you'll know what i'm talking about) was snapped in the middle! Now is it worth trying to source out individual parts etc or just get the whole assembly? All i could find today was one on ebay in brisbane ... I can't keep my car with the window open on the street and I'm not able to temporarily hold the window up as well as I've taken the motor etc out. Someone with a spare assembly or contacts? pls help! (tried searching but the search function keeps giving a database error) Thanks guys

    Fine Costs

R31, nevermind mate ... why are you constantly trying to say I didn't do the right thing? I SAID THAT IN MY FIRST POST. some_cs_student, I did apply in writing to get the costs removed explaining my situation but that got rejected. thanks for your help guys, I'm going to call them tomorrow to setup another payment plan. Cheers

    Fine Costs

I got laid off from work and my family member passed away so I had to get off it ffs, I didn't make this thread to find out what the right thing is ...

    Fine Costs

As i said, i agree i shouldve paid them on time, I can be like the thousands of people who never pay fines but im trying to do the right thing here ... just unfair how "COSTS" can be over a THOUSAND bux on fines less then 700 ... what other cost is there then to post out a fkn invoice?

    Fine Costs

guys just a quick question if anyones had experience with this before .. i have collected a number of fines over the last few years (mainly citylink fines) ... the fines themselves add up to 600 or so, but there's over a GRAND in costs etc that they collect after they're late ... how do they justify that when all they've had to do is send me some notices??? I actually setup a payment plan for them a while back but fell off track with work etc so missed out on them again. any tips for me? (except the obvious ... paying on time)? worth getting a lawyer to get off the fees etc? Cuz im happy paying the fines. Cheers,
  22. Sorry to steal the post but I'm after a drivers side one if someone has one
  23. cant i get fined for leaving sh*t out on the nature strip just like that? Fridge to a scrap metal place is a good idea. I just saw an advert of someone wanting a free fridge / couch and mattress on gumtree cuz they've just moved out. waiting to hear back from them (pity they didn't leave a mobile #)
  24. Pascoe vale! so the dump will even take a fridge?
