  1. Assuming you're telling the truth, I'm happy for you that you are so succesful.
  2. Well at least someone knows what their talking about. I have nothing to gain through lying, so whether you accept it or not is entirely up to you. (Everyone).
  3. That's very sad. Something wrong with the gearing perhaps? Not enough downforce to give it more speed? (Too light). I've seen video's of GTR's that will do 0-300 in less than 13sec, my car took the best part of 2min to reach those speeds, something is wrong here.
  4. Reaching these speeds isn't as hard as you think, maybe open your mind a little. I know an owner of a 360 Modena V8 who has done 294km/h in it. A standard R8 Clubsport will do a little over 250km/h so yes, Commodores and Falcons can cope with this kind of abuse.
  5. 225/50 R16, whack it in drive and away you go. Around 6,500RPM.
  6. Yes, O.K. My car probably didn't have alot beyond that speed, I'll admit to that. I define ridiculous speeds as uncontrollable, my car was not uncontrollable at the time. By exotic supercars, I'm assuming Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's etc. With no money involved (speed limiter removed), any one of those could pass that speed. The base model V8 Modena Ferrari is capable of 295km/h and it's speed limited. Grab a Bugatti and have some 405km/h fun (that is also speed limited). http://www.informante.web.na/streetsceneAr...p?articleID=188 A good 12mph over the Mclaren's 252mph roughly translates to 425km/h. I'm impressed.
  7. Some interesting opinions, and I can understand why some people may not believe me. I still stick by, you must drive it to believe it. I squeeze it open till around 160km/h, then nail it. 200 goes by real quick, 250km/h isn't far behind, 300 is a little longer to get to, then it gradually clicks up to near 330-335. It sits dead flat on the road and there isn't alot of feedback from the steering. I was surprised at first but then I think to some production cars that are capable of over 400km/h that is very shocking. Seeming as at those speeds, carrying an extra 5km/h is noticebly faster. These cars were made for country roads, their built for carrying high speeds. Plus their weight gives them a solid, firm ride so I can understand if you think you're GTR's can't do it, no-one can, but that's just your opinion. It doesn't cut me up too deeply if you don't believe me, I've lost nothing.
  8. It's an auto and I was using the Gtech-Pro for speed. 337km/h was the top speed, I don't know why you would find it so hard to believe, you honestly need to drive it to understand. BTW I watched that Typhoon video, thumbs down from me. It puts a bad name to modified turbo Fords. His throttle application was similar to what I usually use, but I would kill that Typhoon without a shred of doubt. My staff are in disbelief when they get out of the car, and they test and tune modified cars all day.
  9. I think you'll find it'll be quite a bit the opposite... You'll wallop me for traction, then watch me reap the glory. Did you say you're car had over 100kw less power? Is there any point comparing them?
  10. This is rather amusing that you wan't to just dismiss me because you think I'm no competition for a GTR. That makes me laugh, seeing the dissapointment on your face when you're passed by a Falcon. Got any listed mods for me to laugh at? Maybe even torque, power or quarter mile specs?
  11. Funny, haha. Oh... you were being serious. I'll rip the arse end out of your Mazda3, if you're serious that is. It wouldn't surprise me if your Mazda didn't make 120km/h on the straight, I make around 195km/h around the kink.
  12. No speed limiter on mine, it'll pass 300km/h on a decent straight. In N.T I sat on around 340km/h easily, didn't want the speeds to get too ridiculous though (it had plenty more left in it).
  13. Last time I was out there (with around 280rwkw) I posted consistent 1.22sec around Mallala. Now probably around 1.20secs.
  14. Factory the XR6T runs 6psi boost, modifications include bigger valve springs, bigger injectors, perfomance exhaust, C.A.P.A Ford Flash tuner, new cat converter. These cars make power extremely easily, on a racetrack with these modifications the car is excellent. At public road speeds, nail it and all it does is hang the back out all day, you will have trouble getting traction until around 160km/h on street tyres. On 9psi I made 339rwkw which was impressive I thought.
  15. ??? And you said you were lost for words. You must be specific if I am to learn from my so called mistakes by replying to peoples posts, if you just tell a child he's bad all his life how is he supposed to learn from what he's done wrong? If I'm so childish that is, you may want to use the above formula to teach me.
  16. I don't use semi slicks, I only use slicks when at the drags because of major traction issues. Why are you asking?
  17. If you have a Nissan then definetly spend the extra money on a Power FC. Apart from Autronic (without breaking the bank) they are the greatest ECU for a Nissan, Microtech have made slight improvements but not enoguh to better the Power FC.
  18. I don't do public roads, I don't know where Berwick is either. The closest racetrack to me is Mallala, I schooled a few Evo's there, and I'd be more than happy to put my money where my mouth is and show you a couple of things, what are you running?
  19. 'Where and when' is all I have to say.
  20. BTW Ferni, the BA XR6T/Typhoon handle alot better than you think, if you still don't believe me, then just watch me keep right on you're arse in the corners, then fly past you on the straight sideways.
