  3. Dunno about rims, but we go to Treads International in Clontarf for our cheap tyres, they aren't brand new, but they are all very well known and respected brands, and all have 80% tread left and we haven't discovered a bad one yet! They range from $60 for smaller tyres, $80 for 17/18" street tyres, right through to $100 for semi slicks. They don't deliver or anything, but if you ring first they'll let you know straight away if they have what you're after. They only take cash, so remember to get some beforehand. http://www.treadsinternational.net/index.html
  4. it's all personal taste franky. I like cheap drinks, free entry, being able to wear sneakers and jeans, and being able to hear people without them having to scream. Others don't mind cover charge or paying heaps for drinks, as well as nice loud music. If we all liked the same shit what a boring world this would be
  5. I haven't been on since your birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I gave a glass to my uncle for his 50th with a slogan on it$ which I shall now repeat to you... "53 isn't fatal... but it's pretty f**kin' old" You are the bomb diggity and by far my favourite SAu member. Luvvers yew
  6. ha... that's hilarious! Andy won't touch the family. Mainly due to the pretentious f**ks that frequent there.
  7. Hey guys, just got a few items for giveaway. Table - 90cm x 50cm - fine dining table when covered in tablecloth, or would make good hobby table or workbench. 3 Seater Futon x 2 - Steel frames, one needs new mattress if to be used as bed, fine for sitting on York Compact 401 - missing bar for lat pull down - needs oiling
  8. Cheers in that case it's just easier and cheaper to buy a no name mp3 player from JB
  9. Bunta is wanting to sell his R33 GTR brembos, I can't remember what price as he is sleeping now, but if you PM him he'll let you know

  12. oh f**k it Spent the entire day messing round with noel then changed brakes on the 32, by the time we got home and had dinner it was past 9.30 and we were buggered. not to mention forget completely about it. ARGH! I will eventually get one of these... possibly
  13. Hey guys, I know this is not a game or anything, but seeing as there isn't just a plain old 'computer' forum, i thought i'd ask in here. I want to turn my ipod nano 3rd gen into a mass storage device, so I can plug it into the usb port on my car headunit. I found rockbox but it doesn't support nano 3rd gen so i'm at a loss as to what I can do... I never had this problem with my standard usb stick mp3 player, it was just plug in and there you have music, but when I plug the ipod in all it does is try to sync Any help would be great. Cheers, Anna xo
  14. Shit i'm glad you cleared that up for us silverbullet... that's ghastly! And i'm not a gamer, but I thought i'd post up pics of a mate's computer area... it's so crazy I nearly fainted when I saw it
  15. Nah s'all good. All sorted yes we do owe you for the stuff haha you also still have our initial D dvd's. we'll do a swapsie sometime hahah damn straight. Except in the case when you have a shithouse real estate agent like ours, who STILL haven't fixed our oven, toilet, outside light and carpet, even though repeated attempts at phone calls and emails have been made. f**king slack pricks
  16. ha, i'm full of em this week. Must be something in the koolaid i've been drinking lots of... But seriously, there is nothing worse than buying in one of those communities. Once the contract is up, the place falls to shit. The gardens or lakes aren't maintained and more and more bogans move in. Andy's sister is a property valuer earning about $300 an hour, and she told us not long ago that under no circumstances, even if our lives depended on it, were we to EVER purchase a property in any of the 'lakes' districts or such similar communities. She said that they may rise ever so slightly in value, but the drop is enormous and the company you have to keep whilst living there is not worth it. Not to mention they're all in the sticks i'd honestly purchase in Ipswich before i'd purchase anywhere else atm. She reckons it is going to have a MASSIVE boom real soon. It's so close to brissie, and is now becoming like Paramatta is to Sydney. And most of the houses there are older style which I Hot damn, is that what you do? Man I wish I was creative like that.
  17. hahah I used to think that song was hilarious
  18. MmMmmmmMmmMMm
  19. Can't sleep... so freakin tired I'm just sitting on my verandah looking at the city and watching my chaser fairy lights change colours. So perdy
  20. Just asking, it's what i've heard is all OMG tell me about it, way gay-er than you even how is that possible
  21. hahaha, if you're gonna use my quotes, get them right... "that's a f**kin awesome story kid" And he's still getting paid while he's off work, so it's not an issue. The evo was never going to be a here and now thing, it's gonna be ATLEAST 6 months til we see that... but he's having confusing thoughts anyway so who knows! who the hell are you
  22. Fkn A brutha! Is it true you high mounted a stock turbo?.................................. nuff said
  23. Sif try to kill you! You know how shit my memory is I baked those cookies cos I was getting a visit from you, I thought they'd make you smile
  24. Oh, and we're moving because Andy is having a while off work and we're just going to float around and visit family and friends. Also moving cos rent in this area atm is averaging about $300 a week for a 2 bedroom place. It's gone up so much recently... it must be becuase it's such a dive & bogans can now afford since the centrelink payments have gone up to $3000 a fortnight. Just joshin ya Col, I just find it highly impossible that you can judge an area in which you spent a day, when we have lived here so long and had nothing but sweet memories. The streets are wide and tree lined, the facilities are bountiful & there is such a huge sense of community spirit... and NONE of that f*kin delfin manufactured community bullshit. The thing is though... I only lived in Windsor for 6 months, and it made me HATE the Northside. No matter the price of houses ANYWHERE on the northside, I would never live there. So it goes to show that one experience can truly make a huge impression
  25. On that route you would have passed our house.....and I have never seen any drug stuff except the odd bottle of paint at the train station. It must have been a truly eventful day for you to see that stuff in one day when we have seen nothing of the sort in nearly 5 years! Also I don't know what side alleys you speak of... I know the entire area, including most of Annerley, Moorooka, Fairfield & Rocklea, and there are no "side alleys" to speak of... you must have been in the valley or something and just didn't notice. I remember passing through your suburb one day, and I noticed 4 decapitated hookers with 23 flailing tenticles and a meth lab stall, like little kids sell lemonade at in the states. Also there was an entire exposed psychiatric ward full of zombies and centaurs feasting on the carcases of import drivers. Amazing shit!
