When I log in to my router it shows the new laptop as connecting via Ethernet.... Everything else (other laptop /phone) are connected via wireless...

just plugged it into the router and everything is loading fine.... the signal strength on the wireless was fine though so it can't be that... it's gotta be something to do with it connecting/dropping out like it's not allowed on the network or something....surely this brand new gaming laptop doesn't have a shitter wireless than my 5 year old regular laptop..

It's definitely computer related as my other laptop is loading every page normally, this laptop is struggling to load SAU/facebook and constantly d/c from the wireless...both laptops are in the same room...

Picked up the new laptop today...Using it now, internet is running like shit... Anything that needs to be done to fix that? It's connected to my wifi obviously, was dropping out flat out at the start but I used the troubleshoot and it seems to have fixed the drop out issue...speed is still slow though...Would I need to login to my router and accept this IP or anything like that? Have had to do that with phones etc in the past, but this connected automatically when I set the laptop up...
