And all of a sudden it's not 'un-Australian' to be given a win? Don't believe for a second that when Vettel decided to challenge him, that Webber's engine was still turned down. Vettel may have instigated it, but they both raced, and Vettel came out on top, just like he more than likely would have if there was no order to hold in the first place. There's a reason he's a 3 time WDC, all in the same car as Webber at the same time. I hate the cock more than most, but he's a better driver than Webber.

Team orders are team orders so yes. RBR wanted to influence the race result just as Ferrari did. Mark doesn't seem to mind ignoring team orders to hold station when he's the one in a position to gain a place either.

If that wasn't already his motivation for the year (ie win the WDC himself) he's in the wrong sport. Every driver out there wants to win the WDC. Period. Loving the conspiracy theories...Surely people posting in here know that the driver has the biggest say in tyre choice etc.

Just watched Pinkham interview Rosberg, he hadn't heard what Hamilton said on the podium but said it's nice to hear it, and that he completely understands the teams point of view and knows it'd be exactly the same order if it was him in Hamilton's position. He said of course he would've loved to go flat out to the end but that he knows there'll be a time for that. Level headed team player.
