Hey guys just got back from my tuner and we are having some problems adjusting the ignition timing, we adjust it in the ecu but it doesnt actualy change the timing, when we used the timing light it went way past all the marks once we opened the throttle. This is in a r32 gtst, just wondering if anyone else has come across this before and how did they fix it. HKS cam gears have been fitted with intake 0 and exhaust +1 cheers in advance

you know, i havent yet puley the fact that all of a sudden it worked jsut fine for like 40 minutes driving then next time i started the car it didnt work again. but i will check it today

Hey, I just got a new microtech put into my 32 and ever since it feels like i have no power steering :S its extremely heavy, and sometimes feels as there wheels are fully turned in one direction when there not. The HICAS light isnt on so i don;t think thats the problem. Anyone else had similar problems? cheers in advance

Well Its ADR apporved, I bought it from DMD Its structualy stronger than the original, and is quite thick. Has a serial number imprinted on it, and a bit of paper from the manafacture stating that this bonnent with serial number ...... meets the requirements of the ....what ever it is. Havent had any problems from the cops about it

Well, About this time last year my last car was written off and it was probably for the best because it allowed me to get the car i always wanted. Well its a 1993 R32 GTST Type-M was in pretty ordinary condition but thats what i wanted, something to work on. So far theres not too much done too it, and would take on board what ppl think and what else i can do too it So far: Engine: Microtech LT12S - Untuned atm HKS Cam Gears HKS Fine tune Timing belt HKS SSQV BOV Bosch 040 550cc Injectors Hybrid FMIC Hybrid electronic Boost controller Apexi Intake Highmount T04E Turbo Full 4" turbo back Exhaust into a Apexi Muffler Rolling stock: HSD Coilovers 18" Rims with Nexen 235x18x35 on the front and Nexen 265x18x40 on the rear Exterior: Full Final Konnextion Bodykit Pearl White Respray 14 layers, which changes from green to blue from different angles Legal Fibreglass vented bonnet The dyno sheet below was done after the Highmount turbo was put on everything else was stock, the run was on 12psi and in 3rd gear, I am unsure why they used 3rd i thought they normaly used 4th as its closer to 1:1 Anyway what do you think, had it for just on a year now

lol yea thats what i figured the 1998 was lol, Well put it this way my insurance jsut went up $600 for telling them it was a 93 model, but then again i also told them about the respray, genuine ket, suspension and bigger turbo as well, my bad

Well turns out the car is a 93 model also a type M according to FAST, i downloaded it last night. The date on the blue plate on the firewall say 1998 and the compliance plate doesnt have a date on it :S

the only date on the plate says 1996 :S lol

Hey Guy's, i have a R32 GTST, but i am unsure on what year it actualy is, guy who sold it said 91, rego says 90 and insurance says 93. I read while back you could tell my the plaque on the firewall depending on what letter was on the end of the sequence. Does anyone know how i can identify the year? Cheers Cameron

Hey guys, this is a regretfull post but up for sale i have my brand new Microtech LT12S ECU which i only picked up on Monday night, Also a Pair of HKS Adj. Cam gear's along with a Brand new never used Bosch 040 intank fuel pump. Ecu is still i nthe packaging it came in with plug and play adapter for a R32 GTST the ecu is mapped for the same car, I dont have the boxes for the cam gears as they where going to go on my car ASAP, I also dont have the box for the fuel pump but it is still in the sealed plastic that it came in, i am looking for $2100 for all this as one would make a perfect performance upgrade for any R32 GTST. lol fair enough, but need it for the central locking i will be getting to comply with the insurence. Anyone have a spare complete door lock? maybe thats the bets way to go

Hey guys, I have a R32 gtst and i am having some problems with the locking of the passenger door its hard to hold the handel up and close to lock it sometimes doesnt close all the way when you go to lock it. Also when u lock it from the drivers door the passenger door doesnt lock totaly u have to manualy push the lil button al lthe way. I have taken it all apart cleaned it and re-greases it and still am having the problem, has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Hey guys, I recently had my car resprayed and while the windscreen was out, we noticed someone we couldnt identify on the dash on the left hand side where theres a lil plastic cover i assumed that covered a bolt for the dash, but on closer inspection it had a clear incert and some sort of electronic device under it, Cars an R32 GTST, if anyone has any ideas let me know Cameron
