  1. Hmm You may been correct! two of the pistons were ordered outside the set of 4 for obvious reasons a CA18 only has 4 in the set. Very good Spot.
  2. I'll have to check it out they stated the writing is the ex side.
  3. Well the holidays are over and it's back to work tomorrow with this in mind I headed around the corner to my local autobarn and picked up a new ring compressor All installed: A few people have messaged me regarding the utilization of ca18 pistons and the deck height; well here it is and the deck wasn't adjusted The dial guage says they sit about 1 thou proud of the deck surface. Hope you guys like the updates!
  4. 18 / 22 second rings were out of the box 22 so couldn't go smaller Boost 2.2bar ish
  5. Spent a very hot few hours yeaterday in the garage gapping the rings ready to be installed today however cannot find my ring compressor!
  6. Crank is all torqued down and ready for the rods and pistons in the next few days.
  7. Unfortunetly one of the studs is defective with the nut only able to be wound down 1/3 the way.
  8. Just putting the crank in and it seems one of the studs may be defective and is 2-3mm longer than the other short studs. Does anyone know where I could source single arp studs?
  9. So whats everyonea thoughts on stud installation? Do you bottom them out or bottom them out and then back them off a turn?
  10. So I spent today cleaning the block and replacing all the Welche plugs and giving the block a lick of paint. I think it turned out ok!
  11. Ok finally everything has been machined, Washed and measured! Picked up the Ikea kit this morning! Ikea Kit: Block: I just need to gap the rings down and it's ready to Assemble! Thanks to Mendham Engineering!
  12. I'd be keen for a R32 GTST harness?
  13. Cam Trigger: Cam Sensor Mount: Crank Trigger & Mount:
  14. Hi All, I've been talking with Next UP Performance in Brisbane about their RB trigger wheel kit and they've offered a discounted price for 5 or more purchases. The regular price for the kit excluding sensors is $759 however if we get 5 people they'll knock the price down to $695 per kit + Shipping (I'll be arranging the shipping after confirmation of order & pickup) You're also welcome to pickup the items from myself if you are in Brisbane. The Kit Includes: Crank Trigger Kit: Std Nissan Crank gear machined and tapped to suit 12 tooth Cnc'd trigger Wheel 12 tooth Cnc'd trigger Wheel Billet Alloy cnc'd Bracket and mounting hardware to suit Gt101 Honeywell sensor (not supplied) Cam Trigger Kit: Billet CNC'd Sensor holder that has been designed to bolt in place of factory CAS to suit Gt101 Honeywell sensor (not supplied) Single tooth Cnc'd trigger wheel that bolts onto the front of cam gear All mounting hardware to suit Let me know who is interested, If we get more than 5 I'll see if we can work out a better price. The Kit is designed to work with the ATI balancer (however it may work with other brands given enough clearance) and after market ECU that supports a 24 + 1 configuration. Interested? Send through your details, I'll post images shortly once I resize them. 1) Myself 2) 3) 4) 5)
  15. Bump! Still chasing all of the above items.
  16. Thanks for the offer, ill see about getting the bumper first.
  17. Hi all As the topic states im chasing the front and rear bumpers off a bnr32 and tbe side skirts from a spec m preferably located in Brisbane Cheers Cameron.
  18. Yea Ok, I have been told about 15 thou for NA + 4 thou for turbo + 2 for NOS I've also hears of having the rings are different sizes with the top ring the larger.
  19. 83.5mm
  20. I tend to agree Roy - However to go to 9000+ rpm i'd want to get a New CAS to be safe as alot I've gone to buy have iffy bearings and a new CAS is $400 - $600 For the Rings 100% agree and I just need to find someone to take care of that.
  21. Yea Main Studs, Head Studs and Big End Studs are ARP so shouldn't be a problem identifying which is which - That was my main concern do you go by the OEM or the Bolt/Stud Specs so that clears that up. Now to see if I can clean the NITTO head Gasket or if I need a new one.
  22. Yea I am tempted to do it myself as long as I can find all the correct torque settings etc. $700 + sensors & wiring for the trigger wheel config from Next Up or $1300 from Ross.
  23. So The pistons finally arrived from the USA - Wow USA > Brisbane in 3 days Thanks Fedex! Pistons, Rods & Bearings have been sent to the machine shop to finalize all machine work, This should all be complete in a week fingers crossed I'll have everything ready to be assembled. Still deciding to build myself or find a workshop to install the rotating assembly, Everything else is fairly straight forward. I've been looking at trigger wheel configurations as an alternative to a new CAS and have found that Next Up performance here in Brisbane has an off the shelf solution for half the cost of other configurations from ROSS. Tossing up if it is really worth the month for the build....
  24. Yep not cheap..
  25. i dont have the cas to compare
