  1. part numbers dont match up mate, or i couldnt find them can you check part no or send me a link with info
  2. GO MOPAR! steve ill call you monday. what sort of money am i looking at for this machining job guys? thanx everyone else for info, this site is priceless
  3. so the passanger side rail is sold?
  4. dont really care ive gotta 350 sbc waiting for a rebuild, ill use it in that worst case scenario.
  5. gota set of chev eagle H-beam rods ata good price, but they need to modified to fit rb engines. the distributer tells me this is not a major prolem and should not cost more than 2hunj for modifying an dmachining. now i got 2 questions. 1: whose done this? what excatly do i have to tell the machineist to do to these? is the differance down near the bearing or up near the pin which needs to be changed. 2: who can do this in PERTH, ive ordered them so they should arrive in a week or so. tenx
  6. my bad, r33. i classify "constant" both wheels will loose traction at the same time all teh time. i think ive sort of figured it out, sky have a viscous lsd standard not a "constant" ls
  7. havin an arguement with my mate, im tellin him skyline diffs arent constant lsd, hes telling me they are! who is right? if someone can tell me all the info on sky diffs this would be great. coz i know for a fact my std diff on my skyline isnt a fultime lsd, coz after comparing it to my 9" in my old commonwhore its would get both wheels spinning almost instantly when you give it the smallest amount of shit! but the sky you really have to give it a lot of shit before both wheels are smoking hard! and this isnt only in my sky, same as a few that ive driven! iight set me straight ppl
  8. ahh i think i found size of std bore- 86.5mm so thats a 1/2mm diff, seems like bugger all!
  9. im using a big daddy ITS T04e. engine (being bulilt now) is a 25/30 if you use say a 87mm head gasket on std bore is this bad? not a huge differance! whats the mm of the std rb25 pistons?
  10. more info on engine. who did the rebuild? thats a steep price eyy? negotiable?
  11. MR331307- well im actually tryna buy your arais pistons lol i msged ya just now but no reply as yet either that or some other piston on the forums will definately be bought soon. r33_racer- excatly what i wntd to know, thanx! is a 8.5:1CR quiet low, or within normal cr range? what would be teh limits of CR? both uper and lower limits? obviously it depends on many factors, but lets stick with safe, street power.
  12. thanx for that VHR32, awsome site. but i dont know any of teh following values. head is rb25det VVT out of r33. Bore/Stroke Designation Type? 1 = Inches 2 = Millimeters Cylinder Bore Size Piston Stroke Length Head Gasket Bore Diameter Compressed Head Gasket Thickness Combustion Chamber Volume In CCs Piston Dome Volume In CCs Negative For Dished Pistons (Use '-') Piston Deck Clearance Negative If ABOVE Deck (Use '-') :
  13. which head gasket can you use. im buyin a rb25 metal head gasket off the forums, would it compatible. also what sort of comp ratio would a 1.5mm head gasket give me on std pistons? and with 20thou over pistons? with a standard head.
  14. changed your mind about sending those rims to me yet (perth not that far away lol)
  15. wonderin wat that was i got same clutch but single plate, sik clutch, good price! n GL
  16. ok done some research in comp ratios confused teh hell out of me, plus i dont know of the figures needed for my engine. so could someone tell me what comp ratio i would get if i used a 1.5mm head gasket on an rb25det r33 which has 1:standard pistons 2: 0.02" over sized pistons? both with using the standard head/ valves ect (for convience use std values even tho heads gona get ported) would this gasket be too big? comp ratio too low? application is street, 400-430rwhp, pump fuel (ultimate) what are pros and cons of a slighly lower and slightly higher comp ratio than std?
  17. sure thats twin plate?
  18. well wheres the price? selling seperate?
  19. sold to me organising it to be sent now thanx m8
  20. mitchy- those twin pods are mad! i bought mine off alpinestars the pods sik and so is he lol oi if u wona sell give me price pm i might buy another one for a spare. kx2fifdy- i gota unused autometer dual guage pod, fits snug over pillar not like dem china ones, holds 2x2" gauges. if ya won it you can have it for 50bux. if ya want pics let me know! cheers cob
  21. if this doesnt happen i won it! pm me if it falls thru
  22. ahhh so an r33 gtr crank would be a direct replacment, BUT r32 crank needs some machining/ modification... ok ok making more sense. is it worth it? or would a 25/30 be a better idea? r31nismoid- have you done this conversion?
  23. is it worth it tho? has anyone done it and what have they found, pros and cons? or do u know of anyone whose done it? or shall i just do the 25/30.? so you guys r saying there is absolutely no clearance issues with these internals? i dont see how 3gee will get me half way??? theres a few sets of used forged pistons on sau for bout $700, rods $800 new, gasket $500, bearings, seals ect $400... so far thats about 2.4? and what eva it cost for honing n acid bath ect, ill just need a bit more for head work i think. and labour is a favour from a mate. its obviously not a 10grand rebuild coz thats not realistic for ME just yet and probably not necessary for MY 100% street use, just a bit better than standard, strong an reliable. what cost have i missed? cheerz guys
