  1. 1) hard road use 2) ive got 3grand to spend on engine parts, (already got 2vvt r33 heads, 2 rb25blocks, 1rb30 s2 block n loads other parts) so dont need to buy that, already got huge T04e, ecu, ect... engine parts which will include, pistons, bottom end rebuilt kit, head gasket, head work(if money allows then bigger valves n Hbeam rods) 3) ill be doin a bit of work to save labor cost, and my mate diesel fitter is gona do most of it. 4)im in perth, was gona get maybe applied engineering to fit the head, after doing minor port polish and re-con with new valve spring (and bigger valves if money allows)
  2. thnx for quick reply. i might start another thread in performance section aswell. engine is for some responsive street work, looking at 400rwhp reliable, definately forged set up with pistons and maybe rods. the reason why i ask this, my first plan was to build my 3.0litre with twin cam, but theres some good priced pistions and rods for sale ere and im thining of gettin em. will doing the 25/26internals increase capacity? will using 26 pistons not work with the 25 head?
  3. hi im in the process of rebuilding my engine and am undecided as to what path to go down. ive heard differant information about this (25+26internals) but i want some concrete info! QUESTION: can you put a rb26 crank, rb26, rods and rb26 pistions into a standard rb25 block? and increase the capacity??? PROBLEM: this longer stroke will obviously smash the valves with a standard head gasket, BUT how big of a gasket or spacer plate do you need to prevent this??? PROBLEM: whats teh diff between the rb26 pistons and 25 pistons? OVERALL: is it worth it?? thanx peeps
  4. i didnt understand, are these standard injectors which have been flowed to 770?

  12. selling a brand new exedy heavy duty pull type clutch kit including: single organic clutch plate, heavy pressure plate and thrust bearing, and instruction i bought this from a distributer here in Perth who sold me the wrong clutch and wont refund so ye im loosing quiet a bit but i got no use for it. my car is a r33 series1, so it wont fit that, but IT WILL FIT r34 GTT, and possibly stagea (check first) and whateva else is the same as these. im pretty sure the clutch plate of all rb egines are also interchangeable . check for your cars compatability. http://www.exedy.com.au/catalogue.asp from the exedy site: "EXEDY racing clutches are fitted with premium organic friction materials and are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the preferred clutch for street and light horsepower track use. The drivability will be similar to a regular clutch, however drivers may experience increased pedal effort, slight shudder and increased cabin noise due to the performance characteristics of the clutch. All of our clutch discs have high capacity sprung centre dampers to reduce the drivetrain shock and impact" LOCATION: Perth, W/A, will post anywhere (it cost me $40 COD to get similar clutch kit but with flywheel sent form brisi to give you an idea of cost) PRICE: $400 CONTACT: PM, SMS or call 0405 332 404 thanks for looking

  18. howdy just about to order some pistons for 30det. can get a good deal on acl rebuild kits and the new forged pistons they've produced. does anyone have any experiance with these suckers? are they any good? or shall i pay a few hunj more and buy eg arais??? dont really wona spend teh extra dollars coz i will also be getting Hbeam rods. also these acl forged pistons apparently produce a comp ratio of 8.5! is this ok for a daily driver which will cop a bit of shit with about 420rwhp??? the car is a r33 is thats gona help.

  23. SYDNEYKID "For the one millionth time boost is IRRELEVANT. Airflow makes horsepower, boost is simply a measure of resistance to airflow. A 3 litre flows 20% more air at the same RPM as a 2.5 litre. That means you CAN have lower boost and make more power" so whats the secret to creating max air flow? port match n polish the head... ne thing else?
