ya i am in same boat, i wanted autotune to get a safe base map that i could bring to a dyno, if i buy the dataloggit box i may was well stay with dataloggit software, i wish they sold the box seperately w/o their software, or if it was possible to make just the data connection box -

yeah, i was in need of the box that lets say the dataloggit would use, i found em for 300 with software -

As i was making my daily rounds on the varius forums i read everyday, i cam across this thread on a software to tune a APEXI power FC called copilot. Its a open source program dedicated to the software side as an alternative to the fc dataloggit and fc tune, but this one looks much more promising. Obviously the biggest issue is the interface between the apexi power fc and the pc thats doing the tuning, dataloggit sells a box for roughly 300 bux including their software, since i am trying to do this as cheap as possible (im a broke ass college student) i kinda ruled that out for now, now i could fabricate a interface box, and i remeber long ago a friend told me about something in regards to this, and recent another forum member rekindled my memory, enter paulr33, fortunately the link i had is like 4 years old and it was linked to paul's old site, fortunately when i think of power fc i think of paul and when i saw his name in the old link i was quickly able to find the new link ( i have it in my favorites ) http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/docs/...n%20adapter.htm ok thats pauls link to the interface box, now i was trying to find anyone whom has done this before ? or if anyone has found an alternative, i have done a ton of varius work on huge circuit boards, and yadda but this blows my mind, anyone just want to find some input ! also here is a link to the copilot http://spyderchat.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=45059

ya vpc is cool but like 15 years old, i think emanage ultimate allows you to use a map sensor tho

ok i have read paul33 faq and its my new power fc bible ! i had one question about it though, as far as using the power fc on a rb25 or 20 which uses 1 maf and one o2 sensor, and wiring them in parallel, has anyone actually done this ? i was going to start with 2 mafs and compare the voltage readings and if they were similar enough i was going to wire one z32 in, and the same goes for the o2 sensors, i was going to check if voltage was the same on both, and if close enough wire them in parallel and use the free o2 bung for a wideband on the rear turbo ! just curious if done yer or was i going to be guinea pig

out of curosity your running some sort of Air fuel controller with that maf ? the z32 maf will not work properly if u just wire it up, it needs voltage adjustment, thats where an air fuel controller comes into play -

i own a rb25 and i soooo wish i just bought a rb26, it has better head, more choice of cams, slightly larger displacement, all a bunch of things i did that cost me more on my rb25 and came out to be more than a rb26 -
would anyone happen to have the pinout to the dash plug from a r32 gtr i have a small pic to show what i am looking for its needed to wire into a s14 via m63 plug

Ok i am redoing my water and oil lines for like the 100x time, due to all the kits i bought came with wrong size bolts sigh, i basically need the thread size of the stock rb26 oil banjo feed, and the thread size of the water feed, as well as the size of the water return, i am gunna run adapters from those metric sizes to an AN 4 for oil and a an6 for the oil, i already bought the block fittings i just need the fittings to the turbo.... hmm now that i think i think the water feed is the same size as the block fitting so that means i just need the water return thread and the oil feed ON THE TURBO thnx guys

i know tps is similar to o2, but i got these 2 plugs that are like 2 in bug with 8 prongs that are larger prongs that idk where hey belong, than, i dont see my inj resistor plug, is that on a seperate harness ? -

ok, after finding out that my old rb26 wiring harness was shot i am now repairing a spare i had, unfortunately it is loaded with a ton of plugs that idk wtf they are can identify a majority of the plugs but a few i am not to sure about, would anyone have a pic of their harness with all plugs labeled and identified ? or if i took pics of what i i dont know ?

the issues with that is that in water / oil turbos, the oil cooling jackets are a LOT smaller, and mainly for lubrication compared to straight oil cooling, and yes with just oil u need to time the car or else the hot oil accumulated in the turbo seals sits there and cakes -
