  1. Sorry guys i'm pulling out of this one...pretty much exhausted my front brake pads and tyres @ QR during track day after doing almost 30laps, and won't have my next set in on time.... :
  2. Welcome to the family!
  3. Well i wouldnt know if it's my car that ure talking about, but i guess i have not seen any other 32gtr with a trust front bar and work meister s1 on the car yet...and well i do go to UQ, so maybe?
  4. QR was good fun! Pretty happy with my times fer my first time on QR, and we had loads of lap time on this session...should get better with more practice, better brakes, suspension setting and semi slicks next time round i hope!
  5. 9kpm: well i'm happy enough to travel daily without a wing at all..just wanna be able to get to the track in peace with the GT wing on...well i managed to drive to QR this morning with my GT wing on and got there and back safely....there was a traffic bike cop filling up at milton BP with me this morning..i was thinking oh shit...but he didnt even walk over..he saw me but just went to his bike after paying n headed off...phewwww...lol
  6. Welcome to the dark side...! I've heard the charlies do decent work...however ive never been there and therefore can't say anything fer sure.
  7. Forged wheels from japan are light yes, but that does not mean they aren't strong, in fact they are stronger than wot is produced elsewhere like taiwanese ones or even aussie ones...
  8. Well tuning is never all about power gain, the torque curve is important..it's always torque over power output fer me...its not abt getting there, it's about how u get there... And tuning is also about getting better fuel effiency, better AFRs, eliminating flatspots...and also getting the kindda setup u want fer yerself...
  9. Col: QLD club as in SAU QLD or?
  10. Well if anyone is interested, i now have one of these in the GTR and it works perfect.
  11. Well looking from the rear, the width flushes with the fenders, or slightly smaller perhaps..end plates are rounded with no sharp edges....but its definitely wider than the width of the rear boot... I guess carnards on the front bar are definitely a no-go...
  12. Well ive been asking about machining the thread n stuff..but problem is i still dunno who exactly to go to, as in im not too familiar with these engineering or machining shops that could do the job... I'm located in brisbane....any of u guys could recommend me an actual place that could do this job of getting the thread on my current shifter back to before fer the gearknob? Don't really wish to change shifters as im running short shifter...
  13. Actually wot do diff ratios eventually affect? So there is both front and rear diff on the 32GTR, is that right?
  14. I think KYB is standard on the r33 gts-t...not 100% sure though...had them when i first had my r33 gts-t in the past....generally soft to me..kindda standard suspension feel....non-adjustable.
  15. Falken Ziex are horrible tyres...maybe fer a normal car they are fine, but not fer the skylines fer sure....the only falkens i would ever consider using on the street fer sports driving are the FK451 and ST115...of cuz the RT215 and RT615 would be better choices....
  16. Might turn up fer this one! Will be meeting at the main meeting point if i can make it~~ Cheers!
  17. Should be there fer this!
  18. Damn i cant make it fer this date! Arghz...pls do inform on the next such session in the future...
  19. Should be at the GC autosalon this sunday afternoon with a few mates....
  20. Thanx guys fer all yer help...well ive eventually gotten a Deka etx30L dry battery from Battery World at Chermside and it outputs 365CCA although everyone told me that Deka batteries are under-rated and when tested they easily put out another at least 80-120CCA more than specified. I got the battery fer 180(lowest quote among quite a few battery worlds) and had 101 motorcafe customise the brackets fer me. Donna and her other half at Battery World Chermside were really helpful and friendly and support motorsports as they have a drag bike of their own as well...If anyone wants to get an optima redtop(800-900CCA), comet batteries mentioned in this thread does them pretty cheap at 310. Just sharing some info... Cheers!
  21. zaffa: that's exactly my problem now...my gear stick thread is no good and i cant get my gearknob tightly in...thats why i thought of using those geearknobs which could screw in tight from the side and secure it...but hmmm...seems like even that isn't gonna work...
  22. nissan patrol tray back? i dont quite get that....
  23. I would never use a button or puck clutch...my mate has one in his supra TT and it's a killer to driver with...once u go with a twin or triple, the bite difference is enough fer u to tell yerself, "I never want a heavy duty or single plate clutch ever again!"
  24. Between Exedy and OS Giken, definitely OS Giken~ Other clutches u could consider are Ogura and ATS...i'm currently running a OS triple and i love it, its not that hard to drive with even on the streets...I've used an OS twin as well...definitely OS over Exedy.
  25. Heya Stephen...seems like u switched from a 33 gts-t to a 32gtr too...wot model Falken semis are on the rims?
