Well ive seen a few momo knobs fer sale on ebay...but they dont seem to have the screws to tighten onto the gearknob from the sides? Wot i meant by screwed on tight was from the sides...not as in the normal way knobs screw into the stick...

Hi there...im looking at getting a dry cell battery and am considering the deka ETX30L dry cell battery....it has a 365CCA rating but every shop tells me that deka batteries are always under rated and when tested they easier put out 450CCA, i'm using it on a stage 1 setup GTR and i dont have a big sound system, just mp3 headunit, front speakers n front tweeters, a viper alarm and then about 5 gauges....is this battery enough and reliable to be used? Anyone who has used deka batteries on their cars care to share their experience? I know optima red-top would be a solid battery to go with but i dont think i need that amount of cranking power...

Oh man yeah i saw that section on the news abt hoons and the police cracking down on them...defects galore manz....sheesh actually i don't intend to use my gt wing on the streets, i just want to put it on at home and drive with it to the track and then from the track back home that's all...its kindda impossible fer me to transport it there n fit it on there itself... Yeah i was around the slacks creek area this afternoon, actually i was getting a bit lost...so didnt really notice ya driving past me... i was trying to find the 101 workshop to ask if they could fabricate my battery bracket fer me...kindda in a rush to get my dry cell battery in fer track day next week...

Just wondering.....are GT wings (fibreglass with CF end plates) legal here in QLD? And are CF carnards legal fer street use?

Yeah the thread on the stick is definitely gone, i know the thread in the knob itself is ok cuz i trial fitted it on another gear stick in another gtr....it is metal inside...but i dont really want to stuff it with adhesive glue or something..cuz i never know when i have to remove the knob to remove my center panel...

Well i do get sorta like a clunk sound going into first...sometimes when shifting fast from 1st into 2nd i get a loud "bang" kindda sound and the gear engages, but i am using the clutch...every gear change feels like as if it goes in very hard somehow...like a very bare metal feeling...no cushioning on impact wotsoever....it does whine as well...somehow i dont really dare to slam it from 1st into 2nd without the clutch....

Had the HKS Super Drager on my r33 gts-t in the past...nice exhaust notes...pretty silent in the low revs...and really open up on high revs...i dunno about this one...but mine from cat-back was progressive from 3.5" to 4" towards the muffler...

Can i get some numbers that i can call to the suggestions from u guys? Well i actually have 2 choices, to customise a battery box fer my battery in the car or to run a dry cell, because it's in the cockpit that's why....and i need to have it done before track day in june... :

Hi i'm using a OS Giken triple plate clutch with OS lightened flywheel on my GTR...it makes some noises when its abt to be engaged...sorta like a whining noise....its not the ringing noise when i clutch in...that i know is normal fer multiplates..does anyone here using triple or twin plate clutches have these noises? however my clutch does not slip at all and still bites very strong.... Any inputs? Cheers~
