  1. I wish I got paid for correct spelling and grammar, wouldn't that make life simple. A small correction to your post, that's not a superfluous O it belongs there.
  2. ^^ I loved that show, when the world was b&w. Goodtimes.
  3. Awww man don't appolgise for being you.
  4. Any real man doesn't conform to guidelines or how "to be" type laws, he'd do the opposite while baring his ass to the nay-sayers. If you need a guide book you're never going to get there...although it'd be a good reference for he-she-she-he's ect.
  5. He's a step up from Bracks...not much of an endorsement I know.
  6. Sexual chocolate with a bit of gold pearl looks nice..
  7. ^^^ add to the list the 7 series has the worst re-sale value of any comparable car. Wait 10yrs you'll get one for 12k
  8. Easy tough guy...maybe I should have included a smiley, but I thought it was obvious enough. Hardly an echo of the above, I don't see any duplication of thought or suggestion. Anyway feeling better?
  9. You've taken laziness to a whole new level.. Cars as a long-term investment are a bad idea, who knows where transport in 20yrs will be..big oil burners might be outlawed by then. Unless it was a true collectors/museum piece worthy of pebble beach type appreciation I wouldn't think it a wise move.
  10. ^^^ you might have to say it a few more times...I've found 5 times generally gets the job done Yeah you're pretty much right with what you'll need, there should be a thread or 20 of people that have done it already. Front mount and an aftermarket turbo = defect Not to mention as soon as they lift the bonnet it'll be smiling and waving at them.
  11. Nice cars, plenty of fun. Why not purchase a new one?.........I hear they're giving away a free cardigan with each one sold. Incentive enough?
  12. Vicpol don't like high mount turbos....sets lights and sirens off in their tiny tiny brains.
  13. The Skyline-Sportsman.. Not my thing but taste is always subjective and the car is yours, so....nice work
  14. What no more tough talk?...pls continue If the pre rebate conversion cost was $1200-$1500 then after the rebate was anounced the price went up to $2300-$3000 for a basic conversion? You do the maths sparky....If they could sell them @ 1200-1500 at a profit.....well? So a subsidy of up to $2000 appears magically you can't get the same job done for under $2200...in simplistic terms they jacked the pricing accordingly. Result: oppotunity for profiteering and wasted taxpayers dollars, now did you comprehend what I suggested as a better policy re: fuel-gas subsidies, we'd all win every time we gas up instead of companies and corporations gaining through a crap policy. The policy is flawed and has been recognised as such...so it is going! Now that's as simple as I can put it.... Now as I said a few posts back Sorry for the hijack, Now hows that gtr conversion going?
  15. Keep going...
  16. Some goodluck there, makes a change.. Well done Mr Policeman.
  17. what was the point of that? re-iterating the obvious. are we in the same conversation here? we don't appear to be. I'd suggest you're being a goose for reasons only known to yourself.
  18. ^^^^^ Nice one...seems they managed the 30 or so years before without starving. Ruffles, yeah I understand what your saying it's not just the installer that has ridden this gravy train into the ground..Suppliers ect, see a dollar take a dollar, that's business. My meandering point was more along the lines of: it would have been better policy to subsidise-discount the fuel rather than have a baby bonus type scheme for each gas kit installed, it's far less open to abuse via profiteering. This would also encourage growth in the Gas installation industry as people see the difference and stability in price between gas and petrol and switch over. Economics-cpi aside the increase has been disproportionate. The gift that keeps giving...cheaper fuel for all. When the rebates gone it's gone. Sorry for the politics, but damn it's frustrating. Hijack over...hows that gtr going?
  19. Ford are cutting-redirecting funding, the teams they're retaining are FPR and Stone Bros FPR will be developing chassis's and Stone Bros the engines.
  20. Which equates to?? profit? wow
  21. Pre rebate basic conversions were $1200-$1500 depending on whether you like being ripped off or not. Sequential gas systems are obviously a more expensive system thats a given but they sure as shit are not worth todays ticket price. Your boss (you know the guy who does the accounts ect) is not pushing out gas systems on a $100 margin, If he was you'd be installing them under a gum tree and getting paid in gumnuts..Haha The industry is rife with profiteering thats why the rebate will be removed soonish.
  22. The grant-rebate didn't really help anyone other than the installers...As soon as it became available installation costs magically increased by about the same amount. Now if they'd subsidised the cost of lpg instead..... Another one of the Liberals poorly concieved intiatives...Thx John, glad you're gone.
  23. Persecution and harassment does have an effect..Have a look at the M.C club culture of today, most of the oldest clubs didn't begin as outlaw-renegade outfits. Persecution forced some underground which in turn attracts a harder criminal element...then over time...you get the drift. You think they'd learn a little from history, the more they push the more resistance they'll come up against.
  24. Meh..do whatever you want, have fun, learn from your mistakes... Repeat until death....
