cant remember there was a vid on youtube that explains all the extras that it has over a normal evo 8 and does a bunch of tests with it too was actually pretty good to watch, test an sti, nsx and some others if i rememeber correctly

price is the same as a 9 for the 8mr if you can afford it go the 8mr all 8s are 6speeds MR;s have alloy roof bunch of extra carbon parts, like vortex generator, whole rear spoiler in carbon etc have factory fitted bilstein struts which are awesome for stock struts, cars that arnt fitted with them use them as a cheap upgrade

well turns out the cd player will work as long as the FM frequency is in the Australian frequency range of 87.9MHz - 107.9MHz it'll be fine and this one is apparently the AM is shit but no one listens to it anyway
