Can't Get Good Pedal In Clutch

have you used the correct pivot ball or installed a thick washer under the stock one to give you more cylinder travel? or try bleeding it upside down with a large syringe and a piece of rubber vaccum hose over the slave nipple...this will push all the air out through the resivoir at the top. and have you bled the intermediate block as well? -

Yes definitely for the better...rearward facing exhausts are so last year...hehehe never was a dyno queen anyway...we were racing our car well before it saw any dyno comp...2rismo you must be getting old as your memory seems to be fading...its just that our race car was good at both. Did i hear you mention trophy's before? -

im relaxed...let the dyno queens have their dick swinging comp. Its safer for them there. ill be racing in SM with flames spitting out my side-mounted exhaust...hehe -
ill back HKS in any "pepsi challenge" contest against their "equivalent" Garrett model. its a no-brainer the HKS turbo's are better.

The fact that one of the sponsors on here was stupid enough to run a dyno day on the same day as this event does not help either. -
must be an echo in here...lol yeah we went back to back against the 2530's and struggled to make 10-15 kw more actually i think the max was 13kw revving it to 9200 instead of 8200.
-
We made 404kw at all four on pump with them and 448kw on c16 (2530's) they were a bloody great little turbo...i take my hat off to them p.s. they are now in sav man's car
-
I use the same tuner and found the torque curve moved 1000rpm up the rev range for very little gain...not an ideal set-up for a street car in my opinion. All im saying is that the 2530's will do a better job everywhere else on the torque curve and almost everywhere else on the power curve (except a little bit less top end) Although not every engine/car will perform the same

HKS 2530's and HKS GT-RS's
-
We changed from 2530's to GT-RS turbo's and made only 15kw more and had to rev the thing 1000rpm harder the turbo's and a retune were the only thing that changed. the GT-RS turbo's require a lot of other changes (capacity, headwork etc) to get them to perform you must remember they are the airflow equivalent of a HKS T51R KAI (well almost)
-
GT-RS turbo's on a street car is a bit silly really...id go for GT-SS turbo's for the street or 2530's if you can find a new pair.

The promoter needs to assure more qualifying runs...to pay for entry and only have two maybe three runs all day is a bit discouraging to new racers. You pay half the money to have more than double the runs on Wednesday nights. On Wed. you get to race under lights too (i prefer to race at night as well) The way the classes are structured and the DYO format puts people off too. My trip to NZ has shown me how wrong we have got it over here with Sport Compact. They have huge fields and heads up racing in a 1 sec. bracket classes. 9.90-10.90 etc. does not matter what your car is...if it runs 10's you race 10 sec cars i.e. 10sec FWD civic racing 10sec AWD GTR. This makes for close flat out racing all day which also is a great spectacle as far as spectators go (the last event had crew only in stands), and i didn't see anyone backing off jumping on brakes etc. Your own class showed how stupid the current system is... top quailfier was around 9 flat, second qualifier was around 10 flat, the next car was 11 flat, thats first three qualifiers over 2 seconds apart, name any racing class in the world where such a farcical situation would arise...its laughable. Ive discussed running a one off NZ style event, outside the series next year to see what the racer and spectator feed back is. If Ray Box is not interested in running it im sure Parkside Media (NZ) is! BTW we will be racing. just won't be entering till the weekend -
as per title thanks

These squirters have been fitted to our race car and have had almost zero street use (probably done more klms on dyno), they are in immaculate as new condition and have had nearly 3000klm clocked up on them. $100 each so $600 for the set strictly no offers or chit chat please free delivery Australia wide

The Redline/Speedtech VR4 in NZ uses one with a dogbox i think i remember him telling me it was a PPG. He also had a microswitch mounted on it to momentarily cut the ign so he could flat shift it...he said it was an awesome set-up and was the pivotal change that saw him run 9's. -
I have the latest G-Tech PRO RR set up correctly its only thousandths of a second off the time boards at the track and almost spot on in its MPH times sometimes its perfect. We always weigh the car at scruiteneering and put the correct weight in (remember to weigh yourself too) this is critical to have the unit work correctly.
