  1. hehe she's pretty mad (you wont see a torque curve like that with your big single) ive love to give you a drive steve but that would be unfair to your underwear...lol its an OS Giken 5 speed.
  2. these items have been uneconimical for me to produce due to the price of the copper wire skyrocketing, and also me moving away from my material suppliers. Im not willing to make these cheaply, i insist on only using materials i would only fit to my own vehicle. So price will have to increase to $40 plus $10 postage and will only be available in batches of 10...ill start the list now... anyone interested in buyer feedback on this item check my trader rating.. 1/ Mr X 2/jippa3000 3/jippa3000 4/rb180 5/RipNGrip 6/zertec 7/GTAAAH 8/dkonig 9/GTR 400 10/Rob C110GTR
  3. yeah max torque is @ 4500rpm but look at the overall torque spread from 4000-9500 its unbelieveable on the road. Stace is good and the baby should be here in the next few weeks Dave a comparison graph will be available next week.
  4. its not the power levels...its how hard you are going to rev it...whats you rev limit gonna be?
  5. I dont love paying for it though back on topic...
  6. to be fair it was in RWD @ 35psi and yes it was race fuel but not C16 it was on VP103 unleaded at Powercruise. it would make over 440kw everyday in 4WD @ 34psi on C16 and around 400 on pump fuel
  7. Extreme...ITS OFF THE HOOK!! yeah...467 actually @ Powercruise Dyno comp under full competition/shootout conditions. you want to leave as much material in the exhaust port...so just a polish on that side. Removing the material on that side will cause the gas velocity to decrease and the "hit" on the turbine wheel to soften. A mild port on the inlet side to allow the extra air to enter the combustion chamber without restriction is a plus...just remember to have the port rough swirled NOT polished at the end of the porting (this will aid in even distribution of the air fuel mix in the cylinder).
  8. Thanks mate...very keen to look over your creation...well done and very fresh to see somethingout of left field. Dont be too keen for tomm. night ...its forecast to rain. we have put off running ours till next wednesday.
  9. it means nothing... our number plate reads TWO.06L...meaning two point six litre. some people when making up custom plates use a 6 as a G my mate one day was looking at the plate and asked us "what does twoogl mean"? we had a laugh and explained to him that it meant 2.6litre...and that the 6 was not meant to be a G but actually a 6... he said nah stuff it im now gonna call it "twoogle" this name stuck and has grown to even been included in the drag records lists and in magazine articles its weird how some nicknames evolve and stick
  10. the last time we raced it weighed 1474kg...without the 106kg driver...so a 398KW GTR to go 10.3 sec's weighing 1580kg with a synchro box is a fair achievement. we have stripped some weight out of it since so it will be interesting to put it on the scales at the track next week. unfortunately i still weigh over 100kg
  11. Wednesday has been canned due to the weather...Wednesday next week looks the goods now.
  12. The power and respose of our HKS 2530 engine with Tomei 260's is well documented over 460KW at the wheels with the response of nearly a stocker...just be careful not to do too much to the ports or the response will be lost.
  13. give me $140 for every kilowatt it makes and its yours
  14. no i had an N1 item on the last engine and N1 oil pump. Got a JUN oil pump this time, in an effort to keep the inner ring of it in one piece i got the 1000hp ATI item. People HARMONIC VIBRATION KILLS OIL PUMPS thats why std pumps live ok to 7000rpm N1's live ok at 8000rpm rev them any harder and they fail due to vibration. This is the reason you need to carefully choose your balancer.
  15. read post 3 of this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=183511 the filings will sit on the top compression ring between the piston crown and the bore. The filings will glaze the bore and not allow the ring to seal properly causing blow-by.
  16. yeah...its not too shabby for a very fat (rich) run-in tune. Will be out either Wednesday night and/or all day Friday sorting it out at the strip. All depends on when Croydon's are avail.
  17. im too soft for that. no gas for me, its only for hard men like you Torismo
  18. sorry having a bit of trouble operationg our new HP all-in-one
  19. 398kw...i think...it was just shy of 400kw the torque curve of that engine/turbo/cam combo was very peaky though. the torque curve of this engine is nearly dead flat at max torque for 5000rpm...its incredible on the road. its a completely different car....more different than 50kw would have you think. the power does not tell the story...its the torque. ill post up a graph
  20. most engines making double the power they were built/designed for fail before too long.
  21. come for a run on wed or friday...id love to see it run Brendan. were unsure which one were gonna race at yet
  22. Im in
