  1. Yeh i have just thought to keep the profit within SAU... Cheers
  2. Yea i been told the 2.25" would be best at high RPM perhaps if i put a smaller muffler that will help in back pressure?
  3. It is a proven fact that the RB (Race Bread) engines are built stronger (more torque and outright power) than the SR however being a 6 cyl vs 4cyl, the SR would be better internally ballanced for high RPM. From what i have read and from what i have driven, the R34 GTT is the pick from the S15 however if someone has the $$$ an GTR will be the ultimate. Cheers
  4. Being a 1.8 with only 92 flywheel KW it would need to see high RPM to get it going hahaha It comes with a 2" press bent exhaust system from factory with a small CAT, 2 centre mufflers as well as a large rear muffler. The setup im getting is: Hurricane 4-2-1 extractors, 2.5" Highflow CAT with 2" or 2.25" mandrel bent CAT back, resonator half way with straight through highflow muffler at the back. I dont want the setup for loud sound, i want it for maximum performance. I used to own an R33 GTST with a full 3" exhaust which gained 21rw/kw however on an N/A back pressure loss will result in poor low end power, therefore im just contemplating if the 2.25" will be too large and result in low RPM power loss. Cheers

  11. Heheh should be a weapon
  12. Additionally, who in their right mind would park an R33 GTR in a side street or shopping center car park when going to work? Insurance cost + maintenance + Cop magnet + Thief magnet = Hard car to sell
  13. Here is one in silver In White will look much nicer...
  14. Yep I would get a White VSpec R32 GTR and lower it on the R34 GTR wheels
  15. Thanks guys, Well today i took a FOB (fresh of the boat) '94 R32 GTR VSpec II for a wrap and she was a smooth a silk! The older poorer quality interior made me hesitate a little but once i got stuck into it i was IN LOVE! It felt much tighter and lighter than my R33 GTSt and the RB26DETT sounds so sweet! I also managed to score a test drive in an S15 Jap Spec... the interior and looks were to die for... but after driven the GTR the S15 seemed like an N/A lol So far the R32 GTR is the one... Cheers
  16. Thank you for your tasteful wording Richard. I too agree that the GTR will be the ultimate street weapon, if only i could afford an R34 GTR. Until then, the R32 will be an exceptional project. Cheers
  17. Yea im still leaning toward an R32 GTR... just have a look at the ones on www.justenginemanagement.com the look gorgeous just lowered on 19's and besides its an RB26DETT Why would a GTR be more expensive to maintain over a GTST? i cant see the reasoning...
  18. Just to let you guys know, this is going to be a weekend toy ONLY... I'm keeping my Pulsar for daily driving. My aim is for Power (approx 300rw/kw) + Reliability + +Style + Value for money Cheers
  19. Hey Guys, As most of you knew, I owned an R33 S2 GTSt with 200rw/kw for quite a few years and now almost 6 months driving a 2005 Pulsar Q I’m itching for a new power toy. Basically I would LOVE an R34 GTR however its way out of my budget ($23,000) and so I have been test driving the following: R32 GTR Pros: Twin Turbo + 4WD + Excellent handling + Cheap (under $20,000) Cons: 15 yr old + Most in poor condition + will need lots of $$$ for restoration (paint, interior .etc.) S15 Jap Spec Pros: New (current) shape + gorgeous interior + light weight + SR20DET (easier and cheaper to mod then RB's) Cons: RWD (traction issues) + needs big work for big power R34 GTT Pros: New shape + Nice interior + Easy to get big power + Excellent handling Cons: RWD (traction issues) + Heavy I personally love the look of the the S15 and the R32 GTR but love the drive of the R34 GTT... My question: In regards to value for money and response to performance mods, which of these three cars should I go for? NOTE: This will be a weekend car ONLY Please feel free to comment Regards, Sarkis
  20. Thanks for the advice DECIM8 i have considered that option too and might be the best way to go about it. Cheers
  21. I appreciate you advice Adelaideprosound, I have no means of drilling into the metal of the car but rather secure it on the the plastic and rubber mouldings. I personaly dont have the cash to pay an Audio workshop to do such an install and thats why i want to give it a go myself. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated! Cheers
  22. hehehe I have checked out almost every car audio site possible and cant get any tute's or pics. Yea i was considering using card board to make a template then construct it using 16 - 18mm MDF. I could use L brackets & pop-rivets to support it. On my next day off ill strip the boot interior and see what i have to work with. Ill try and post up some pics. Cheers
  23. Well im sure all those $$$ custom audio installs dont have any issues with rust. Just wanting some ideas in terms of design and construction. Cheers
  24. Hey guys, as we all know that skylines and other coupes have minimal boot space and was just wanting to construct a vertical flush mount rack for my amps. Im wanting to make them on the side compartments of the boot so that i can maximize the boot space. Has anyone done this? I have a basic concept of constructing a vertical flush mount for an amplifier however would like some experianced insight, tips, tutorials and pics if possible. Here is a pic just you guys have a rough idea. Any info would be appreciated! Regards, Sarkis
