last time i went to the drags i had 6 runs of times between 14.00 and 14.10 it was pissing me off i just wanted to crack into the 13s i had shit tyres so i was changing tyre pressure to get grip off the line and i only had done intercooler, boost controller and pod filter and was getting 1.9sec 60ft so low 13s is no problems.

i was going to buy a new gt2831 or something but garrett gave me this turbo for free and i cost me 200 in gaskets and clamps and i am happy. i was doing 14.00sec quatermile before i did half the mods so now i am hoping for at least mid 13s in the end i want 12s then i will take it to a race track and see how it handles. but we dont get paid to work on our cars so the work gets done afterhours.

i just got off the phone with the mechanic the compressor housing is the same as standard and the back is a touch bigger and the back housing is what holds the stagea back i am running 5 psi and it has almost as much kick as the standard turbo on 10 i guess i will find out soon when the nistune goes in and on the dyno i dont want to push the turbo yet because the standard petrol map might not handle it and i cant afford to kill it. paul at boss tuning has just dynoed his stagea and got 125kwatw completely standard and we are changing his turbo on wednesday for the same as mine then dynoing his car i guess we will see and i will post the dyno sheet and more info when done.

From what I have been told and can see with the turbos side by side same comp housing but bigger exaughst housing and different blades insted of the standard turbos 6 blades the new one has 14 it was a. Strait bolt up and the motor feels so much more free faster spool up more agressive boost curve envy in brookvale are expermenting with one as well. 3 hours to change $200 can't go wrong best money on mods I have ever spent

i dont know exactly what turbo is but the guyes at garrett are friends with my mechanic and friends with the guyes at SSS auto they all said to try this turbo it should be good and gave me and my mechanic one each to try and it is bloody good and opens the motor up heaps. i am trying to find the exact specs for it but they said it was off a 300zx quadcam

ok so ive done frount mount intercooler full 3inch turbo back pod filter boost controller turbo off 300zx quadcam recomended from garrett and SSS bloody great highly recomended 5 psi boost is the same as the standard turbos 12psi tomiee head gasket arp headstuds stagea uses gtr valves and springs and had them upgraded when the head was off BC coilovers next [hopefully in the next month] r34 gtt brakes 33 GTR wheels nistune whats next i am thinking cams i am only looking for 12s i should be getting close already ???

They are both 6 or 6.5 both sizes fit get wooden spaces the window is close to the door dependig on what new speakers you choose and the magnet size on the back of them I have got a nice setup in my c34 and I went to a wrecker and got vs commodore door speakermounts and put them in and they angle the speaker towards me and space it out so I can fit any speaker no matter how deep and it made a big sound difference

they are very common go to you local auto store and pick one that looks the same they only have one type of thread i also work at repco and a toyota camry or hilux should be the same ask to try it first

so on wednesday my car goes into boss tuning to get my shutter in the left wheel sorted out i only have one day to fix it it should only be a cv joint easy then off to get nistune cant wait so excited i want 13.00 at eastern creek on the 9th july and i am going to get it

i have an c34 rs4 and it does not have the 3 gauges so i am fitting aftermarket gauges and i am trying to find the factory oil pressuer wire

i am fitting an oil pressuer gauge is the oil pressuer wire at the computer and what wire or where do i find it under the bonnet

hows it going he has hooked up to the door wire at the interior light which dims out the factory keyless entry module is to the left of the glove box get the door wire there it does not dim and works great i have lost count of how many i have done just test the wires with a test light till u find the right one if u have any problems finding it tell me and i will pull mine appart and tell u the wire collour
