  5. Hey all... The car is officially heading for the scrap yard so i'll be slowly selling what i could get off it...Located in Sydney I managed to get a few things off before insurance co. took it away...Nb Nothing else available like panels and spares... had to leave the car as is for insurance purposes. Sorry. Any reasonable offers considered.. We'll start off with a HKS Chrono DB electronic Boost gauge. Neat Gauge which features Warning, Peak hold, Playback, Simultaneous Display and a Self-Diagnosis mode. Nice white glow at night... Comes with HKS controller so you can daisy chain all the other gauges like exhaust, vacuum etc...All hoses included. Easy install! Also comes with fibreglass pod holder thats been moulded to fit perfectly in the R33... made by someone here on the forums. Take the lot for $220. (Gauge itself is this price alone) ************************************ Also have a Digital Dash / ECU made by Impakt on these forums. Full credit to Darren for coming up with this... Does what a $12000 unit can do in terms of diagnosing. This thread says enough about the product. Priceless in my opinion. Saves me thousands.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...7&hl=Impakt http://members.optusnet.com.au/impakt01/nds/ Paid over 300 for this, brand new condition only used a few times for troubleshooting. $200 bucks to whoever wants it. ********************************** Genuine HKS SSQV SOLD! ******************************************* And finally the beloved CR KAI Work emotion wheels.... Absolutely awesome looking wheels. Good luck finding them in chrome. Don't even think on the Work website they mention them in chrome anymore.. Never seen these anywhere in AUS. Imported them from Japan about a year ago. As new except a small chip in rear left where i ran over a brick while reverse parking, Can hardly be seen.... You've never seen a brick get thrown so far in ur life when that happened..... These will be available in about 2 weeks - would prefer local pickup but shipping can be arranged. Perfect offset for the skyline. Sat immaculate. . Guards weren't rolled on the car, no rubbing. (Camber kit was installed though) Numerous comments on these... Dimensions Front- 18 x 8.5 +34 / Rear - 18 x 9.5 +38 114.5. These offsets are from memory so dont quote me.... Will confirm when i get the rims back. Does provide a pretty solid footprint when looking from the rear. They come with GT Radial tyres (255 read, 235 front) 80-90% tread all round. Even wear. Looking for $1900 with these tyres. (Rims are over 2100 alone with over 1K worth of rubber). Also comes with Rays iodised blue locknuts that can be seen in the pics. Trying to dig up more pics... can get more when i get them back. Example on S15 for looks. These were on an S15 while i borrowed the stockers for those wondering but the offset wasnt quite right for these... stuck out slightly. If you were running some extreme negative camber they might look alright... Just incase anyone with an S15 as interested. Also found a stock dump, front and cat lying around if anyone wants it. Buy me an oportos meal and we're even if u want it. I will be away in Melbourne for the next few days for work... back next Tuesday so things can be sent out after that. Wheels as i said will take about two weeks to get my hands back on. Can be contacted on Mobile 0416387244 or simply PM. Email [email protected] if need be as well.
  6. All sorted... thanks heaps guys. Appreciate it
  7. CLOSED!!! Thanks to everyone.... Got it sorted. Love this club
  8. Hey all, I'm in desperate need of 4 stock rims for the r33. Dont really mind if they are for r32 or r34 etc, as long as they fit. Need to borrow/rent! these for a few days. Willing to pay some $$$ for helping me out. Im located in Bexley in Sydney, willing to drive around to pick up. If anyone has these lying around or knows where i can borrow some for $ please call me on 0416387244. Appreciate it. Thanks!
  9. spotted WAR 33R on the M5 last night at about 10ish... that would have to be one of the meanest looking and sounding GTR's ive seen for a while... nice flame action when gearing down too...i just looked forward and pretended it was my car making the noise...
  10. a couple of people have asked if these will replace your caster bushes, the answer is yes. It also contains a metal rod drilled with an offset from centre to allow you to get a play around with your castor. They directly replace the silicone filled ones that normally end up dripping all over ur driveway after a while... Camber kit also replaces the ones on the upper control arms. Willing to sell separate if need be.
  11. Spotted a few lines at eastern creek open track day on saturday...black r34, 33 GTR (J** 666) and a black r32 GTR.... shame about the rain... Made for some good sideways action though... Also saw some floating around the skid pan...
  12. Hey all, i have for sale a whiteline Castor and Camber kit. They are the exact products you'll get from SydneyKid as part of the Whiteline/ Bilstein suspension parts group buy. These are for a R33 GTS-t not sure if they'll fit on anything else. These were originally purchased from SK to fix a problem on my car, the problem turned out to be something different... Paid 310 for these delivered, willing to knock a bit off to help you guys out...lets say 280 Prefer pick up in Sydney (or happy to drop it off), but interstate can be arranged. Part numbers below. KCA331 Caster Kit KCA348 Front Camber kit These are brand new and untouched. See pics. I will be overseas from the 12th Nov for a week, so either contact me before or after this. PM or email is fine. Thanks
  13. And you've been getting yourself in shape, so your able to tame the beast. Spotted ya playing squash on wednesday night at Dural courts.... Picked up a mate from there and saw the car.
  14. Hey guys... after a set of stockers for the r33. Tyres dont really matter that much For a track day thats coming up so tyres are going to get charcoaled... as long as decent tread is on there somewhere. Thanks! Im in syd, pickup isnt a prob. PM would be great
  15. i have all receipts and records etc. have the names of mechanics that ive dealt with. I cant see how this guy has a leg to stand on. i could stand in front of shop with banners etc, throw the dealers name under lights, today tonight whatever, there are so many extremes as to how you could handle it but im after quickest simplest legal way without having to waste my time with the manager... He simply cant be dealt with... Im not paying him money to have my bike take up space in his workshop. Looks like a nice straight forward case of money back and walk away im hoping.
  16. Ok guys... Im after your opinion in regards to how a particular dealership (who will remin nameless) has dealt with my gf and I and any advice that can be given. Im sure most of us here have experienced something similar in purchasing our cars, warranty etc. Im not after the burn the place down, brick through the window stuff either... just legal paths i can take and what we are entitled too. Story goes like this. The gf decided to by a 99 model Cagiva Mito with 6000kms on the clock (little 125 ducati look alikes cos shes on her p's). Found one at a dealer in parramatta. Paperwork etc was all done and we signed for it on the 6th May, then told to grab it on the 11th after all the paper work admin garbage etc has been done. No worries. This is where it begins. We called on the morning to make sure all was still good and we were told that the bike had a faulty carby that needed to be replaced, were then told to pick it up on the 18th. Dodgy but fair enough. We were told new tyres would go on to compensate. Bike finally got delivered to her house on the 31st May (with no new tyres). Straight away noticed the brake lights didnt work. They told us to take it back 3rd June. Fixed under warranty and got the tyres put on. 8th June - Went to transfer the rego only to be told the plates on the bike didnt exist. Dealership had to resolve that which took a few days. 30th July - Bike has a killswitch built into gearbox so it wont start in gear unless clutch is in. This would always get stuck and bike wouldnt start. Noticed it in the 2nd week after it was delivered but slowly got worse and worse, up to the stage where you'd have to rock the bike forward and back 40 times to loosen it. 31th July - Knew a bit about bikes so i called up explained to them the prob and told them to place the order for the switch. They agreed and did so. Didnt want to take the bike in until part was there. Waited a month - no call- still no part. finally got a call and was told to take in bike on the 2nd Sept. 8th Sept - still waiting 15th Sept - One part had arrived but they also needed a gasket to fix it properly 24th Sept - i approached them and said that none of this was good enough. owned the bike for 4 months, over half of it it had spent in the shop and still no ETA. Store manager decided that the best thing he could do for us was a trade in - 3990 out of our pocket onto a 94 model CBR250 with 15000 more kms on the clock. Told him i thought he was joking and he told me that i was too hard to deal with and "frustrating him". I left it and walked out totally unsatisfied. Mind you, most mechanics in the shop totally agree with whats happened and our claims and have done all they can, one of them even laughed in the managers face when he suggested the trade in... Called today and there was still no news on this part. I involved dept of fair trading who are dying to take this up, apparently im entitled to a full refund of the original money i paid back in May as all this took place under warranty and quite frankly the bike is a lemon. Any ideas or similar experience?? ive hit a wall with the manager who refuses to call me back....
  17. Im struggling to get a hold of him as well....transferred some money about 10 days ago... havent heard anything. Can only imagine the amount of PM's he'd get. Poor guy. Its SK though, trust him with my money more than my accountant...
  18. Got mine delivered yesterday and installed last night... Threw in the HKS 60mm gauge and it looks immaculate... Well made, perfect fit. highly recommended. I'll post up some pics. Installation took all of 20 mins... u need a hole saw (size obviously depends on your gauge), drill and a standard drill bit to feed the wires up through the bottom of the unit.... perhaps should of taken some pics of the whole process looking back, but hey... piece of piss to do. Slap it in using the double sided tape to keep it stuck there (this is provided) and away you go...
  19. Had a quick look, isnt anywhere near as bad as what you experienced.... Who knows, silicon could of leaked already for i know... Guess the symptoms really depend on what particular bushes are worn as well.... For the price though, doesnt hurt in changing... just wondering if it will fix my problem.
  20. Guys... After some info. A while back i installed SK's bilsteins shocks and springs... all was great for a while... Noticed now though that suspension sounds really harsh.... doesnt like bumps at all. Any sudden hits or bumps results in some pretty serious thuds... doesnt sound healthy at all. Shocks are doing their job, car isnt bottoming out or anything like that....just some deep sounding thuds. Car is on 18's with fairly low profile tyres, slighlyu lowered but dont ever remember it being this loud. Could this be worn bushes? On my last service i remember a mention of caster rod bushes and i think A frame?? bushes. Being silicon filled i understand they are prone to leaking etc.... More than happy to buy some from SK as part of the group buy, but just wanted to make sure that these are the symptoms of worn bushes... Thanks guys.... SK expect a PM and some money changing hands!

  22. Hey guys... Apparently theres a few cars heading down as it is the first weekend date for a while...think the track is open from 9-4pm. No Bikes allowed. Too dangerous to mix cars and bikes unfortunately. The format is 3 X 20 minute sessions per hour on a rotating basis. 20 min Street cars 20 min Race cars 20 minute open wheelers. Anyone heading down tomorrow?
  23. Spotted TRD-33Y and the boys and what looked to be an RB engine out of the engine bay... Something we should know about?? i drove past about 10:30 pm last night, white r33. Gave the air horns a squirt for ya...
