  1. Yeah figured as much, jus worried bout the new fibre fenders i have. If its not fixed properly i may have a lot of trouble fitting them (have heard of some bad stories in the past)
  2. Yeah, he's a good mate and feels pretty damn bad... I am gonna help him out thou as i feel partly responsible. The car is setup to drift so dosen take much effort to get the rear end out, something he didnt seem to understand until he decided too put his foot down.... so i kinda feel bad for letting him do that especially considering he drives a front wheel probe.
  3. Well long story cut short, was too drunk to drive back from valley the other night so thought i'd do the responsible thing and let my friend drive who was not drinking (i know, i know never let anybody drive ur car...), got about 2kms away from valley when he lost control in 2nd and slid into a concrete barrier on the ramp leading to the se fwy, impact was not big but was enough to squash my intercooler, smash my front L light and damage front L fender. I have all new aftermarket parts to fix but need the front left of the engine bay (where the intercooler pipeing goes thru) pulled out and straightened a bit and the crash bar repaired. Can any one point me in the direction of somebody who can repair this well and has exp with working on Skylines preferably on the southside (kuraby area) that aint gonna charge my thru the ass... I am also going to need a pair of wide body Left and Right fenders and TR style front bar trimmed, prepped, fitted and painted, so if anyone knows anyone with good experience in this field. Please let me know. I seen a few Liners drive past me on the night too (embarassing...) Damn tow truck that night cost me $250.00!!!!!!!!!!! too.
  4. gawd that clutch looks like itl be a bitch to drive!! I recently had a brass butt exedy clutch 1050kg clamping force installed in mine and traffic is a killer, feels like theres about 1cm of play between it being full on or off, not to mention the new found muscles in my leg from the weight of the peddle. Not real friendly but lays the power down very nicely and apparently will handle very good for drifting
  5. Hey i just installed a GTR fuel pump in my gtst and have noticed the buzz is there when just idlein but cant really here it when driving, i have heard this from my standard pump in the past but only when the rear seats are out. Is this the norm? maybe need to get some sound deadener in there its kinda annoying in the cabin.
  6. good to here, hope it stays that way
  7. put me down, but need to confirm a date definate so i can get that day off
  8. Cool thanks man will check it out. As far as i can tell its not noisy when cornering tight but then again the car came with a 4" cat back exhaust and is bloody loud so maybe thats blocking it out? Also was mucking around with a boost controller the other day and stupidly hooked it up wrong, my gauge was reading 1 and a half bar but the engine didnt fault at all, no fuel cut no backfire no audible detonation jus seemed to take it noramlly besides the bov being loud as hell and 2nd gear smoking it like it thought it was 1st. Ive read around a bit and a lot of people seem to incurr cuts at around 14psi why would this engine be any diff?? as far as i know its stock i had a chat with the people i bought it off and they jus say the engine is in good order....
  9. Just trying to find out if a LSD is a standard part in the 94 manual R33's as ive read around a bit and a lot of people seem to be looking 4 them, as they say they dont have 1. Yet mine seems to have 1 already and jus trying to work out if its standard or a replacment??? Or maybe its jus been welded up as it throughs the car side ways pretty vicsiously (did i spell that right?) Anyways not complaining as i luv it but just interested. Cheers
  10. Spotted series 2, white r33 with "Tracker Boats" sticker on rear, Leaving Toombul car park. And 4 door Silver R34 but was a auto. Seems to be quite a few liners around Toombul
  11. Pics work fine for me here, but cannot see Rezz's pics in the sticky thread?????
  12. Excellent Pics just makes me wanna go there all the more..... Jealous...... Thanks for sharing with us
  13. Hey "dragme" nice car mate hope all is going well. Update us when you have the time. Say hi to ur other half 4 me.
  14. Ok thanks mate will do
  15. Hey dr drift when will you be around next?
  16. doh stupid me jus realised what i had typed if by 2 you mean the 1st notch on the dash than yeah thats right.... too much alcamhol for me
  17. 2 sounds pretty high for idle once the engine is warm and has been driven around a bit. When mine is cold or jus warmed and haven flogging it, it will be like that. But generally once i have drove it for a while idle will be jus above 1. What grade oil are you using? Rev is normal at 4 for all the liners i have driven.
  18. Burnt out leads or farked plugs will have similar results
  19. Still within factory specs so wouldn worry if it hit redline and stayed there for a few mins than i would be concerned
  20. you put wax on ur belt?...... it could be a bearing in one of the pulleys more than likely. and by you spraying or waxing that stuff on it prob gets spun into the bearing giving it some extra lube but eventually gets spun back out because its not sealed thus noise comes back. Careful with putting stuff on your belt if it starts to slip from it to much it may wear out and snap..... jus try work out exactly where the sound is coming from and replace that part
  21. Yes i would be worried, mine generally sits close to 4 on the highway and drops to 1st notch on idle once everything is hot and the car is stopped. Jus cause its not making noise dosen mean anything, it will start making noise once it spins a bearing... i would be taking it to a mech and get a proper oil gauge reading straight from the block and if its the same replace your oil pump ASAP!, as they do wear out and is VITAL to ur engine surviving. Right now you are probably starving your engine of oil and it wont take it for long. If you cant afford straight away change to a much thicker oil for the time being to get some pressure back, but be warned the thicker oil will put more strain on your pump again. Hopefully its a dodgy gauge but very unlikely.
  22. Under Mc donalds car park no longer exist's but there is a car park around the other side where there is cover.
