Seems to be a recurring theme with the rb20 and rb25, this lag problem. With how cheap turbos and exhaust manifolds are getting nowadays, I wonder if a twin turbo kit could be mass produced with two tiny turbos to virtually eliminate all lag. Just a thought.

If you still got the gtr fuel pump, we can talk proper dollars. $150 is a bit high... and I'm being nice

Heya all, I'm thinking to upgrade the internals on my Rb20 turbo, especially from ceramic to metallic components. Is there a kit available like this, or someone that does it? I don't want to switch to bigger turbo or rb25 due to increased lag. I know rb20 motor isn't good for low-end power stock, so I don't wanna make things worse. I'm not after huge HP figures, and would rather focus on the power curve and engine response. That said, I wanna run around 14psi as well. Is there a way I can do it with keeping the stock rb20 turbo, or have I got no choice but to get a bigger item? My main concern is hitting 14psi and the ceramics inside the turbo giving way...

And I'm STILL waiting on pics for around 5 to 6 items for sale... It might disadvantage sellers to have to post pics with items for sale, but if they end up having to do it anyway, then I don't see any real disadvantage. Plus, isn't the buyer MEANT to have an advantage, to balance the fact that he / she is parting with their own cash? I say make pics a rule for each item for sale, and create (if the web people have the technical prowess) a drop-down menu selection for location, so no stupid suggestions can be put. Without these two requirements fulfilled, nothing goes for sale. Now we're cooking!

Cool, I'm looking to do same. Was just worried that welds might be crappy or piping not sufficient or insufficiently placed so as to not line up properly.

What are the dump pipes and front pipes like off of ebay? Any positive or negative experiences?

Are there any numbers on each turbo that are unique to each turbo? So that one set of numbers / letters appear on ALL rb20 turbos, and another set on ALL rb25 turbos?

So far they look identical, save for the giant wastegate on the one on the right. Incidentally, which is which? :|

VERY nice!!! What is performance like on stock stagea, and whats the going rate? Also, as if you don't do the R34 GTR style nose conversion! Looks wild. Maybe I should get a stagea, planning on having kids in a couple years...

Get a 32 GTS-T. Should get one with pretty decent mods for around $12,000 - $14,000, making around 170rwkw. Plenty of fun with cash left for personalizing!
