Like above will need to keep some extra coin with cheap GTRs and 7's. I'd be prob looking more at 34 GTT's, S15's and EVO VI's for around that money but it really depends what you want in a car.

Replace fuel pump if stock asap (they're quite old now). Mine was going lean running stock turbo and made a world of difference just upgrading. Pretty cheap and easy DIY and it's not worth the risk of running lean.

$2500 on motor loom ecu ect $400 on wiring from auto elec maybe $200 -300 on hoses I replaced, adapters and fluids Still babying 20 gearbox but going fine so I would have spent around $3100ish doing everything else myself. Sold old coilpacks and rb20 and still have a bunch of spare stuff.

Yep, plenty of threads saying how worthwhile the conversion is and what exactly is involved. Just did it to mine a few months and I'd also say definitely worth it.

Since it's going to be a daily you would want to probably look at making it legal. Engineering might be something else you're going to need to factor into the cars cost and could persuade motor choice.
