  1. i disagree with the uni waste of time bit. not everyone has those ppl skills and have to excel in different paths such as knowledge! me myself have ppl skills but not those required to run my own business, plus having your own business is a 24 hour commitment, always ways you can improve, advertising, competitiveness.....etc, but in the end it is solely up to you. i would like a job that ends at 5pm then i can go home and enjoy my family life. i have a mate thats an electrician and works hard as a dog chasing that dollar! dont get me wrong he makes excellent money but gets home 7-8pm every night. money is not everything! im going back to uni this year part-time but not just to get a degree but along the way build my to build my self confidence, follow a legacy and meet great ppl. i wouldn't say uni is a waste of time coz i can guarantee every bit of technology you are using everyday was developed and refined with ppl with degrees! take your car for example ppl with trades just service them but where did it all come from? c'mon whos gonna design the next car you drive or when you get sick?
  2. dont worry about rotors, sorry thought type-m were slotted <_<
  3. im am interested in buying the driving lights and indicators. if the rotors fit mine(non type M) i will grab them too. damn wish i got the gtr 1's
  4. mine makes 158rwkw its only got an airpod, dump pipe, 3" xorst and 12psi. is that average?
  5. yeah if you want to wait till mid feb sure thing! want to get 1 high flowed and still drive my car so thats not a bad option you still got it??
  6. yeah does anyone actually know coz i still have 1 in the garage from my rx days and wouldnt mind throwin in the 32 but would there be a need?
  7. yeah it pays to research b4 you throw yourself into a degree. i have a few friends who made that mistake! you dont want to do 3 years of study and then go i dont like this
  8. taeh i gotta a mate who is a qualified auto electrician he works in broome and makes heaps more than in a major city. yeah he done the hard yard on apprentice wage for 3 or 4 years and loves it now. next he wants to work in a mine and he reckons he will clear 1800/week. thats good money no matter what you do. B) hey i would do that too but my color blindness limits my wire work to almost nothing. safety issues thats. why i am gonna degree myself up its a personal thing too.
  9. yeah i know the 1 it goes like this i give that 1 alot
  10. yeah i agree some of the stuff you learn through your schooling is pretty pointless but i think some of that stuff is there to see if you can actually understand a concept and then use it in other areas. i think this determines ones ability to learn. <_< yeah i was gonna do computer electronics and all that but i've heard it is a heaps competitive field and i am slightly color blind too(damn male genes), so that rules out a few other major 1's for me like all electronics, pilot, etc... even in the defence forces i could only be a cook, narrator, medic..nothing hands on.
  11. yeah in the same boat, damn labour hire companies, are there any decent full time jobs or what. every where that i have gone full time its been a real shitter of a job. ive been doing plastic injection moulding for the last 3 years and i am so over it! every place seems to have the same problems, the ppl dont get paid enough and dont give a f*#@ about their jobs, no incentive. i decided to be pro active and did the university entrance exam (STAT) test. got a pretty good score and now want to do behavioural science. i could have stayed in that vicious circle of having no real money and working hard to pay bills, seeing out my days as factory sh## kicker. so if you hate your job i say get an education and widen your oppurtunities! im not trying to sound like a preacher but i used to winge all the time about my job and not having money and having a job with not much future (overseas contracts) its only now that i have done something about it after years of being stuck in 1 spot.
  12. hey Madaz you forgot to put cubes on your list but thats ok i will pm nevertheless
  13. yep ill pay that!
  14. ok i have pm'ed everyone that has shown interest so far. let me know if i have left anyone out. <_< i have kept the plan as simple as i can. i hope everyone knows where these locations are. anyone is welcome to join at either of these locations.if anybody has any questions or whatever pls pm me. i will keep checking this thread for any new ppl so i can pm them too thanks guys1
  15. ok i have a final schedule with meet places/times available for anyone interested. so yeah the cruise date is 19th february as mentioned above. yep basically going with Madaz's plan with a couple of small adjustments. i will start pm'ing everyone who has shown interest so far and will check for new ppl every now and then and send pm's accordingly! alrighty i think we are set and yes those who want bbq please say so dont want to be eating bbq with myself get postin' everyone!
  16. got any pics and how many kms?
  17. yeah i agree we should have checkpoints to get everyone together! perhaps 1 of you guys living north(as i dont know north much) could arrange some checkpoints on the way to town perhaps up to Le Cornu on Anzac Highway and PM me details. Then i can include those checkpoints when i do the whole thing. i was thinking to accomadate as many ppl as possible lets say start meeting at around 12pm 19th feb sunday. up for north ppl. if you guys do checkpoints can you include times too, thanks. hopefully i can get enough ppl and have a definite time/place thing happening during the week or next weekend. thanks guys! oh by the way if anyone is interested in bbq at V.H. too show interest B)
  18. sorry did you mean you could make it on 18-19th or couldn't?
  19. hows about weekend 11th-12th feb then??? not sure if many ppl will come saturday, some ppl work sats, but im cool for either sat or sun? the cruise will probably start id say 1030- -1100 and take up most of the arvo. B)
  20. hey guys! Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a cruise around weeekends of 11 -12th or 18-19th february? i thought it would be a good idea to travel down south this time. I have only been on 1 cruise since i signed up and that was the one up to Lyndoch in November. Last time we had a North cruise, how about a South cruise. I was thinking meet like around mid south and go for a nice drive to Myponga and Victor Harbour. I know there are a few members down this way and V.H. also. Anyone????
