Currently running 14psi safely and making 225rwkw and 650nm of torque!!. !! = LS1 5.7lt V8 makes 530nm and xr6T typhoon 550nm. Has been on dyno at 250rwkw and 750nm at the wheels @17psi safely. The cruisiest car I have driven, plenty of torque and power off boost. Full boost at 4200rpm @ 17psi and 4400rpm at 14psi. The reason I run 14psi is that I have put the removable baffles in and this alone drops the boost from 17 – 14 and hence the decrease in power. However this is as quite as a stock exhaust r33 skyline Let me know what you think, and sorry for all the pasted together shit – but you get the ideas Shaun Ps. hope you drive a ceffy - this is what i did with mine.. r32 gts RB25DE 47000Kms + T70 Turbo- buy a bare rb25de and swap it entirely with the setup oif the rb20. bolts directly to the ecu and harness etc. take all the ancileries form one and swap to the other. bolt all your turbo and cooler bits fron the rb20 on and you got yourself a really cheap and powerful rb25 with comp. of 9.5:1, not bad considering r33 rb25de has 10.5:1 and the rb25det has 9:1. i have obviously gone a step further and have a very naught cefiro answers to your questions 1. Dr_Drift has got my whole package running perfectly (woot), no detonation - good fuelling, timing and igniiton 2. price: bare engine in good condition under 70000kms $500 - $700. these tend to come with auto and it is not turbo, so chances are most of the engines are in above average condition. installation - you and a mate a weekend or $800 - $1500 depending with mechanic 3. the reason i am smiling at the moment is that cefzla has 250rwkw and 750nm - and it is not done with tuning yet - should get it tomoz - woot woot good luck on you endevoures shaun

rb20det long motor - started, and i mean started to get bearing noise and i only swapped so imidiately as i was going to swap to rb25 down the track any way. engine needs to be aligned to tdc as the timing belt was taken off and things would have moved. - can come with plenum inj rail cas coilpacks. $offer located in melbourne cheers

dc - those are the ones - 22mm sil rotors but you MIGHT need the calipers to suit, as they are 22mm thick compared to 18mm. see the post a few above about r33 na rotors good luck shaun

DC - true dat - that is exactly what i was saying - i only know because i upgraded my brakes to slotted dba r33 na rotors, greenstuff pads and gts-t calipers and braided brake lines. when i took the ceffy brakes off i measured and was able to use as an sr20 brake upgrade to my ca 180sx !! woot woot if you google dba you can download a pdf of all the rotor sizes and check what is sick shaun

22mm sr20 turbo rotors look in the dba catalogue rb20det alternatively you can upgrade to r33 na disks and calipers or r32 turbo calipers. r33 na rotors are 4 stud ! cheers

very interesting - have you been in a car witht eh engine. my old man has one in his 2000kg patrol. stock standard this thing pulls from 2000rpm (full boost by 2100rpm along with max torque) redline is at 4600rpm !!! interested to know what its limits are and how much power you can get out of it about 96kw 250nm torque - standard not interecooled

sorry, i meant when i replace panels and off we go - i am not going to register it. i dont give a sh1t about the dangly bits, all i want to know is that if it is still straight. if i were to clear all the damage, and give it a wheel alignment , would it drive straight and slide sideways if not please tell me what else has to be done.. shaun

is there any damage to any part of the driveline. ie is the damage only to the body (outer shell). if i replaced all the panels will it drive. please let me know - as i am after a rb25 motor and a shell as well shaun ps. i am in melbourne, it does not drive at the moment does it? i would havce to organise freight?
