i keep seeing a white s2 stagea with COP*** number plates all around sydney, i think he may even live around the corner from me, i often see him parked on jamison rd in south penrith

it doesnt have to be exactly 400 ohm, it could be 500 or even 300 ohms, the idea is to provide a reasonably high resistive path back to negative so that current does not flow through the ecu in the event of some sort of failure/short. also the zener diode needs to be installed in reverse bias. your auto electrician should know what this means.

wow, the new headlights are so shiny!

i have found that the wirng colours are not the same between all the stagea ecu's that ive looked at

lol, what can you do. i just hope he gets it back to its former glory. plus i want to know what time it does down the quarter, as i never had the chance to get it on the strip. anyways, i have a new car now, its called a toyota hiace, roof racks, shelves and racking, 3 ladders, and a bazooka, and best of all free fuel, gotta love the work van, its sexy as

i have no problems with idle or any other side effects. the way it works is that the zener diode (or diode's if you use a combination to achieve 10.3V) have a break over voltage of 10.3V, meaning that only 3.7V (14-10.3) or there abouts makes it to pin 51. the resistor to earth is to stop any current from flowing through the ECU.

Below is the wiring diagram which enables the power fc to function properly in a manual stagea without throwing the engine checklight. I have used this wiring circuit in three series 2 25t rs four "s" stageas, all with great results. However i cannot attest to its viability in a converted series 1 manual stagea.

if ur lucky, the person that you are buying your stagea from may give you all of the bits and pieces of workshop manuals he has accumulated over the past year and a half.

yeah its sad to see it go but hopefully matt will look after it, and give it a good home.
