Hello fellow Linesky owners Im ready for my compliance work, but I was wondering if anyone had pics of their compliance work. I'm mainly after pics of - Intrusion bars in the doors - Child restraints - Location of engine number on car - Fuel filler But i guess anything else will still be extremely helpful. Btw, is it normal for a car to have low oil pressure on its first drive (since japan) ? Thanks heaps in advanced!

Hey guys I need to find out where my engine number is? I was told its not actually on the plate along the firewall. But somewhere on the engine or on another part near the engine. My car is a R32 GTS-t 1990. Need to know the location and how many digits it is, so I know its the engine number and not just a part no. for something else. Thanks

The guy who gave me my keys (he did the clearance/paper work while I waited) said to take it to the security gate next door. That guy said that if I'm lucky enough to start it then I'm cool to take it home. So I drove it out, parked on the otherside of the fence (couldn't drive it straight home as I had drove down there and couldn't leave my other car there). Asked the other guy inside (who does the clearance work) if I can park it here and pick it up later tonight. He said, that's fine. So I went off and came back later that night and took it home. I'm getting in touch with AAT to confirm that the car has been cleared etc. Thanks for the look out

Well I picked up the car, FINALLY! And my customs agent told me it will need a steam clean at Hobbs bros. I took the papers to the guy in the delivery office. He eventually gave me the keys and I just started her up (after a few minutes of looking it up and down) and drove it home. Completely evaded the steam cleaners.

I'm due to go and pick up my linesky at Glebe Is. (sydney) soon. And since I know someone who can steam clean my car, I might just ask them if he can do it instead. You think they'll allow it? I cant really afford the extra $200 cos i imported the car on a shoe string budget.

(Easily less than 20hrs/pw. Still at uni doing Design (Hopefully to Design the cars of the future) All my cars were bought with my own raised legitimate money. All with cash. First car- Gloss black 77 TA23 Celica with 3TGTE. Then i got a lancer. Then imported a 300zx. Then got an Mx5. Then got a 180sx. Now im waiting on my R32 GTS-t

Hey Ron Im actually still waiting for it. Just made the payment about 3 weeks ago. It is more expensive than the last car i've imported (300zx @ 300,000 Yen came to $3k, the skyline @ 250,000 Yen came to $3.2k, but thats just exchange rates with 12 months different.) I just gotta hope that the shipping price n tax etc. will be under $3k as well, to match up with Prestige Motorsports estimate. My last broker was off by about $300-400. so we'll hafta see.

So dusty u can carve it. I was thinking about getting the bonnet cut n try n fix some sorta Grille (doesnt hafta be a GTR grille, as i kno the GTR dudes will pay me out). As u can see the dent doesnt look too good. Also, the wheels n windows are gonna get as black as legally possible.
