it seems i have an intermittent hicas issue, the light comes on from time to time. i've run the diag, and its giving me the code for "vehicle speed sensor not present" does anyone know where this sensor is at, and how expensive if it needs replacing?

i think everyone is a little shitty with petrol prices... but the difference between ULP and PULP is less than $10 a tank... it's hardly gonna break the bank... and my theory is if u want feul economy, by a daewoo or something equaly girly, if u want performance, you gotta pay the price...

i had gold ones on a car i had ages ago they dont make much if any difference unless maybe your runnin a competitive sound system, in which case you wouldn't be buying shit from jb... if i remember right they're just gold plated and they corrodes anyway. they look good for alittle while, but i think they only really work on gel cell batteries

i paid 120ish for mine.... it's just a cheapass one though, it's good for the car and around the house but thats about it.... it's lasted over 2 years so i guess it aint that bad...

you can wash with a trigger nozzel and hose now, i'd suggest that, them car washes are bad, the brushes can leave scratches...

i was at bunnings one day when i saw a BA xr8 parked behind an older couple in a range rover. The older couple were loading big sheets of particle board, or something to that effect. They were leaning all over this poor guys xr8 bonnet, at one stage they even let the weight of this board rest on the bonnet of this car while they pushed the board into the back of there 4x4. Ever since i saw that, i've never parked near other people...

i too tend to park well away from other cars where but i still take up 2 spots...
