  1. Yep thats the hub I'm talking about. I had seen it somewhere before but could'nt remember the name of the company. Thanks for this and the heads up with that business but I found another place that has it. I appreciate it brother. Now by chance is anyone here using this and was it a snap to put in? I forgot to mention earlier that this will be going in to a 1990 R32 GTS-t Type M.
  2. My vote is for the Tommy bumper. It looks nice and clean with no rice.
  3. I to am interested in seeing some pic's of the lip.
  4. Hey guys. I have heard there's a hub that allows the HICAS to still be used, is this true? If so does anyone know where to get one or have a link? I just don't want any issues with the HICAS by using an aftermarket wheel and hub. Also, if anyone is using it now, was it any harder to hook up then a regular hub? I have a MOMO hub currently on my 240 and did'nt care about the hicas on it. I may actually keep the HICAS for tracking and use a lock up bar for when I drift. Anyway thanks for the help. Cheers B)
  5. Yeah that pic you posted is well.....a little to busy for my liking. With those side pods on the dash, they raise them up and it's to bulky looking. I want to go with something cleaner. I'm thinking of just using a couple on the dash in seperate pods, group the wires together and cover them with a plastic wire cover so everything is hidden. Simple I know but functional and estetically pleasing to the eye. Hey nathn_r33 I just wondered, in your pick there's an oil pressure guage. Was it hard to hook up as in, did you replace the stock sending unit with the one that came with your gauge? Keep the pic's coming guys if you can. I am still waiting for something to jump out at me that I may steal the idea.
  6. Hey what's up. I was just wondering if you guys could maybe post what you've done with your aftermarket gauges? There's always the A pilar pod's and center console area (which I'm using in my 240) and I'd like some ideas for my Skyline. So if possible let me know and post up pic's too. Thanks fella's. Cheers B)
  7. ^^^^ Great pin out mate, I know it helped me. Now I'm not trying to highjack this thread but it's along the same lines. You would'nt happen to have an english R32 GTS-t complete FSM would you? I've looked EVERYWHERE and the only link I found was either dead or corrupted b/c my computer would'nt open it. I have Adobe so if it's in a PDF that's cool. Thanks a lot, any help would VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Cheers B)
  8. Hey VERY nice car man. I'm sure your gona have many wonderfull drives together. Hopefully I'll have my GTS-t soon in the new year.
  9. White smoke can also be coolant leaking in to the cylinder's. The best thing to do is trouble shoot. 1. Remove your intake and check for oil around the impeller blades. Also check for shaft play. Wiggle the shaft and listen carefully for any noises or excessive movement. 2. Check your I/C piping and throttle body area for oil. 3. Remove your spark plugs and check them. - if they are just slightly black thats good. - if they are white, your burning coolant and it could be your head gasket. - if they have oil, your burning that and it's probabley a valve seal. Doing all of this should hopefully source your problem. I had a similar issue like yours with my ka-t in my 240. It only smoked under boost and I narrowed it down to my turbo being toasted. I did all of the checks though (that I mentiioned above) to pretty much 100% confirm the problem. Good luck man and hopefully it's nothing major. Cheers
  10. Man I guess cops really are the same the world over. You guys have similar laws like us here in Canada. Here, any car that has as little as a nice set of aftermarket rims tends to get harrassed. Skyline's are no exception but, as long as the vehicle is in proper working condition, has a recent emissions test then the cops can't do sh_t! Ever since FnF came out there's been a spike in cars pulled over and it's mainly due to immature punks with they're done up Honda's that have caused problems. Leave it to the "rice" guys to ruin it for the rest of us. Oh well, what can ya do.

Nice low km's on it and since this vehicle has that, and the fact that it's stock means it most likely has'nt been abused by a drifter in Japan.

Interior is nice and aside from a few little things that need some TLC, it's fine.

1990 R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-t Type M Very clean, rust free, PERFECT running engine and transmission along with a mint frame. It's a great base to start my project.
  16. ^^^^ Yep I agree with that 100%. It's a great idea, one I wish my local 240 board would adopt as it's full of "kids". There is sooooooooo much flaming and imaturity that it makes my brain hurt. Im always up for razzin someone and what not but nothing is ment seriously, it's just good clean fun. However, a lot of the guys go to far and it just gets out of controll untill a mod finally steps in to lock the thread. Flamer's never seem to get banned or even suspended. Anyway, just wanted to say I think it's a great idea and glad to see the Admin and Mod's want to keep a good, clean board where everyone can enjoy there time here. Cheers B)
  17. Emailed Mark tonight. Hopefully he'll get back to me soon. A buddy of mine is using this on his RB20det and can't stop raving about how amazing it is. So based on that and everything I've read here, DAM I want this. LOL. Take care everyone and happy holidays. Cheers B)
  18. Almost mine. Hopefully I'll be driving her in the new year. Just a couple of details to work out but anyway, here is a look.
  19. Yeah I have the same thing but what is it for exactly? I'm guessing it's used to keep flamers, bad poster's and so on in check or they get banned right? So the lower I keep my % the better? Sorry for the questions, I've just never seen this on any msg board I've belonged to. Take care. Cheers B)
  20. Hey thanks a lot guys. Your answers are more indepth and really help clear things up. I'm going to remap my ecu and just get a HICAS lock up bar. As for the GTR hood and grill, that's great I'll just have my buddy make sure to snag the latch too. Just one thing though BHDave, I don't get what you mean about the corrections for the SAFC? How would I figure out what to imput on the HI/LO maps as in, what number would I use? Now sorry but I had one more question. How have you guys fixed the spark problem when running higher boost? I've been told to shorten the gap to 0.8 on the plugs so they don't crap out on me. Let me say thanks again as I have really appreciated your help with this stuff. Oh and I appoligise for posting this in the wrong section and thanks to the Admin or Mod for moving it in to this section instead of deleting.
  21. Hey everyone what's up. Well first let me say HI all the way from Ontario, Canada. I'm glad the weather is nice for you guys becasue we have a foot of snow on the ground and it's going down to -15C tonight with the windchill. Anyway I belong to local Skyline board in my area and so far I have'nt been able to get any concrete answers to some questions I have and I'm hoping that maybe here I'll get the answers I need. I'm going to be purchasing a 1990 R32 GTS-t in the new year . It's bone stock which is a great base to start my project with as I'm almost assured it was'nt abused by some drifting kid in Japan. Here are a couple of pic's of the actual car. These were taken in Japan but the car is here in Canada now in my buddies shop just waiting for me. I just wanted a few questions answer and hopefully I'll get them here. 1. GTR hood and grill on a GTS-t? - Does the hood fit right on or do I have to use the GTR hood release latch in place of the GTS-t one? With the grill does it bolt right on or does it require drilling a couple of new holes in the rad support area? 2. Now according to RB20det.com cutting ECU wire #53 removes the speed limiter but then your stuck in HICAS DIAGNOSTIC mode. Is this true and what is this diagnostic mode? I "had" HICAS on my 240 and to remove it I just pulled the fuse from the panel inside the car under the steering colum. Sure my light stays on but who cares b/c the system locks up straight according to Nissan. Also I cut the speedometer wire coming from my gauge cluster to the ecu and that removed my speed limiter but then a rev limiter kicks in at 5000 rpm's in 5th gear. Does the same thing happen when you do it to a Skyline or no? 3, Currently I'm using a stainless steel oil feed line from my sending unit to my turbo. Now I needed to get the proper fittings to use it of course and since I've heard the R32 gauge can sometimes crap out, I want to be safe and install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge (electrical NOT mechanical) with sending unit. What size fittings would I need and how much line would I need? 4, If I wanted to use an SAFC 2 with GTR 444cc injector's (with resistor pack), what is the correction for them? See on my 240 the kade injector's are 270's and the SR20det injector's are 370's. So the correction (untill you hit the dyno) is -27% in both HI and LOW throttle maps. I suck at math so is anyone here doing this and if so, what's the correction for the GTR injector's? Just untill I hit the dyno for a proper tune. Also has anyone here used, or know of anyone, who used RX-7 FC 550cc injector's? What would be the correction for these? They are top feed, low impedance. 5, Does anyone have a link for the R32 RB20det engine/wiring manual? I found a link online but when I downloaded it, my computer would'nt open it b/c the file was corrupted. I have Adobe so it's fine if it's in a PDF format. I want to buy the actual manual but it was $150.00 plus shipping from ebay. I also found a couple of other links but they were zipped .bin files and my computer can't read those. I appreciate this and as you see I have done some research and, to a degree, know what I'm talking about drawing from my experience with my 240. Just need a little more to put me over the top. Take care everyone. Cheers B)
