  1. Mate i'll back up the Eclipse suggestion, i wouldn't get anything else after getting one in my car, great sound quality. Thats my 2c.
  2. Mate i run a GFB stealth fx, no problem with stalling or over fueling, i just got 490km out of a tank. I have mine set to full plumbback only cause i don't want to attract too much attention from the coppers. but have run it on full atmo, half atmo/plumbback and still no prob stalling. but you do have to set it up right and it gives instructions on how to do it, not hard. Good luck with your choice dude,
  3. Yesssss!!!! i'm in. Man c'mon 2nd of july!
  4. Hi Duncan, yes i hav access, i am a paid member of SAU NSW not just a member of the forums if thats what you want to know. I will PM Shell, thanks
  5. You have to push the clip in then into the centre, there is a lug it clips into but not hard to get out, very easy once you see whats happening, you'll kick yourself when you see how easy it is.
  6. Hi can anyone tell me how do i get my grouping changed from contributor to SAU NSW Club Member, as now i'm a member, or maybe i can get both put into my group thingy. Anyway help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Adam
  7. Mate i think you'll find your quickest lap was 1.33, check natsoft for fastest times. I didn't see anyone running a 1.30, Your quickest was 1.33, sorry to disappoint you. :
  8. What a great day, thanks to Adam and co for eveything to make this day very enjoyable for all. Thanks Adam also for helping me bleed my brakes made a big difference!!! Lizzy we both know who came out the winner here, everyone! It was an awesome day and to answer Adam's question, YES i'm hooked! Got my times down to 1.31.6 so very happy first timer MADGTR and Abobob's car were flying!! Again thanks everyone for a great day and Adam for everything, you are a real credit to SAU
  9. Yeah was thinking about it but then heard that they can spike easily and blew a friends turbo!! so i'd rather buy quality parts that will work. But you have to ask yourself why is it only $22 ??? and on ebay at that!!
  10. I have a GFB dual stage B/C. The mech said it shouldn't spike cause they're a good quality item, but it might spike at night cause of the air temp and stuff, which i understand the standard soleniod does on cold nights too. I have a few things to check so i'll keep you posted
  11. Much appreciated GTST, by the way i'm married with two ruggys myself, so not dissappointed but relieved What is your real name? where you from?
  12. I was under the impression that with stock turbo 15psi was the limit??? I can just about rule out spark plugs as it did it with my old ones when they were gapped at 1.0mm and .80mm and also with new plugs at .80mm so 99% sure its not plugs. I have turned down the boost to 10psi though last night found it spiking to 12psi so 'll turn it back down to 10 again and will post my findings. To everyone who has posted thanks!
  13. Okay ive heard of taping up the coil packs in alot of threads about this/similar prob so i'll try it but anyone got a pick of how??? i know i sound stupid in asking but don't want to do it and not do it correctly, cause it could be and if i did it wrong it it didn't fix it i'll be back on here stating it wasn't it! Then GTST will be up my arse and calling me a LIAR!!! Thanks people, really appreciate it
  14. Thanks i'll try that tomorrow, biatch!
  15. See thats just it, my miss can happen from 2000rpm and up. As i said there is alot of similar threads but none like this, I'm not asking you to do my searching i already did a search but don't call me a liar if you can't back it up
  16. Find me a topic that has the same issue as i with a answer to it
  17. Hi All, Okay did a search on this and found heaps but none that really has the same issue as my car so, I got a dual stage boost controller installed a few weeks ago, got it set at 13psi, car is stock ecu only other mod is pod filter dump pipe and 3inch exhuast, the mech said these cars have a fuel cut at 14psi so if car feels like its missing its the fuel cut out cutting in, might happen at night when its cold as it might spike. So try it out one night and sure enough it starts to miss. Checked psi and was spiking so turned it down to 12psi, still happening, thought then maybe regap spark plugs, so now gapped at .8mm still doing it so turned it down to 11psi and still missing so went and got new plugs and gapped them at .8mm got copper NGK BCPR6ES still f**king happening!!! I can progressively put my foot down and it won't miss but feels as though its being held back, its a constant miss not eradict, like its every couple of seconds and its the same all through the rev range, I now hav it at 10psi and this ain't much better than standard although is a bit quicker, but am i hurting the car somehow??? I'm at a loss people so any ideas would be much appreciated Cheers Adam
  18. Any way, it wasn't a sticker but a dirty van and someone had written on the rear window, wish my girlfriend was this dirty! Man pissed myself laughing!!! Cars are cars, people use them for different things. I owned a VYII Clubsport, 285kw good for 13.5 secs. Stock as a rock, tell me other then GTR's which stock skylines can do that?. and its not just commo drivers that are bogans but falcos aswell. At the end of the day who cares what car the other guy has and how fast etc etc etc, its his choice. Ohh, and for that f**kwit street racer up QLD go back to school and A. learn to f**king spell and B. grow up! People like you give not only owners of these imports but also the cars themselves a bad name! 7Shades, are you sure its Alpine? thought it was kenwood!
  19. Hi all, I want to start trying to make some carbon fibre parts for myself and i was wondering if anyone here knows where i can get the materials from ( sheets, resins etc). Any info would be great. I've done a google search but mainly comes up with people who make things out of CF but no suppliers of the materials. I ain't that good on the so if you do find something put a link up or something. Cheers Adam.
