  1. I've shortened the shifter in every car I've owned over 20 yrs without notchy shifts and gearbox rebuilds. All depends on how you treat your ride.
  2. I've shortened the stick in mine, taken all the rubber out, making it basically a solid shaft and it is a 100% improvement on the stock one. Nice and direct and not mushy!
  3. Look forward to knowing a date!

Yeah I'm the same, wouldn't mind having a go but I'm a bit of a soft **** & would hate to scratch the old girl!
  5. That GTR is from Burnie, used to belong to the owner of AJL mechanical services. Rumoured to be pushing round 500HP.

Who's going to Symmonds this Sunday?
  8. I know Shane, worked with him down the West Coast for a while. Caught up with him on April 4th car show'n shine here in Burnie, looked over the the new R33, yeah, what a beast!
  9. Why Melb for paint job?
  10. Look in http://www.cybernoir.com.au/
  11. Yeah, bit of a bitch, there's a pic in TasR.X's link above, It's parked in the scrub nearly on top of a red 240Z.
  12. Ran out of brakes in Cetharna!
  13. I've got a servo, unfortunatly it's leased out for the next 10yrs or so, and dosen't look like they will be getting 98 in a hurry, but at least I have a shed to play in!
  14. Sad to see Peter Moore's Tillbrook sponcered R34 bite the dust. Talked to Mark & Mick, all O/K.
  15. All GTS-T's are Type M not M-Spec, aren't they?
  16. Went up to the Georgetown yesterday myself. Passed quite a few on the Tamar hwy on the way up. Good day. 19 Skylines entered, including 2 GTS-T's! Peter Moore's R34 is a beast, had it on my hoist when Rally Tas was on. Both Mark Tillbrook & Mick Stanic are looking after it, top blokes! What they don't about Skylines ain't worth knowin'! Lookin forward to the weekend!
  17. Was told the same thing by the Shell people up here as well! Was also told that because Shell and Caltas share deports (Caltas uses Shell in the Nth and Shell uses Caltas in the Sth) that it would be even less likely that Optimax will make it to Tas cause Shell didn't want to share "special blend". I rekon a petition would be a good idea also.
  18. Unfortunatly Tas is a bit behind, no 98 fuel at the pump, best bet is Burnie Mitsubishi, I beleive they keep is in 200ltr drums for STi's etc. If your about on the weekend call in to the garage should be there workin' on my young blokes car.
  19. Is it a std series 2 steering wheel? do you have a pic?
  20. Do you have any idea on frieght from W.A. to Tas. Is there any way you can get a pic, can't quiet remember what they look like.
