After 4 months of confinement, she's standing on her own
Waiting on sump, getting a HI octane item made up with the enlarging, trap doors & extended pick up.
Yet to purchase my balancer..
Should be going into the shop in under 2 weeks.
In that time, Im hoping to strip out as much weight as possible. Starting with air con, managed to remove most of the line's and canister, but having trouble with the fan as im lazy and do not want to remove front support bar anyone done this exercise before? Care to share what they removed? Any pics?
Cheers

New price= $2000
Because, I don't want to sell them.

Pics of rims

Would they fit a GTSt they look like the offset would sit right out on the rear. Reason i ask is mine has GTR front guards but the rearis stock and they fill your rear end so think they would sit out on mine.
I've got some pics here somewhere off them on my mate's 4 door, they fit but were scrubbing the tire's lightly.
Will find them after work.

motul 15-50, overfill by a litre and stay out of 7500+ territory.

I take it the cooler won't work with a standard plenum on a 32 gtr?
-
they will fit, ive got 19x10 +15 n they fit fine.
Find that hard to believe as my 10' +18 were poking out of the guards.
-
Congrats..
Spec list?
-
I was hoping to grab the 9.5in wide 17's, but i am thinking that offset might be slightly too much for the r32
agreed..

Awesome car and fair price... Speaking from experience here.
Im building a similiar GTR atm, 86.5mm, GT35R, serious oil mods etc and Im up close to what your asking ... and mine doesn't have the paint, body and wheels etc..
Best of luck bud

Car is running a 1.06 housed 35R looking for 420rwkw at max tune, (will run 360-380 daily) Im up North atm for work so Il track it maybe 6 times a year and do weekly hill runs, but if goes well Il be back in Sydney next year where I will track the car as much as possible. I want piece of mind, do it like the germans once and proper.
u can do an external pump for under 3k with a custom sump included (to suit an ati balancer)if ur serious i can set one up for you, and then just send it up all ready to bolt on
Hey Shane,
Sounds good ... pm sent.

Thanks for the reply's guys..
latest prices ...$2800 for Tomei $2200 for GReddy $1350 for Nittothese were some i priced for an engine during the week
$2800 is just too much to pay for an conventional pump, specially when you have the external group buy in the works for round about the same price.
Just finished my rebuild last week. Got a nitto oil pump in mine. Cant say how strong it is as its still new ..How do you feel about this pump? Thoughts/ who recommended/ know of it's success?
Where can I look at specs/ pricing of the nitto, do they have a site?

Have done the search and am yet to find threads delivering all the necessary info which will make me confident that my $$$$$ motor is safe
This thread can prove to be helpful to the people who are building there 26 with today's depreciating currency. Not all of us can go from engine to engine, trial and error is too exxy ...
Asking for input from people in the know.
Anyways here is my dilemma.
After buying my N1 pump, I have decided it's not up to the job, I want to go bigger.
Problem is I've got a stock sump (got jun baffling) so only 5L capacity, i do have an Greddy oil cooler/ relocater, so maybe 5.7L.. The big name pumps have high flow rates so my sump will be consumed rather quickly at High hold RPM applications, overfilling to 6.7L would work but would be a bandaid fix..
Mechanic has recommended if the budget is too tight, I can retain stock balancer and just use shit loads of loctite to keep the bolt tight...
Narrowing it down..
-Hi octane sump with baffling and trap doors in conjuction with Tomei pump and Ati or Ross balancer ; $4-4500 ($300 saving on ross, but quality not as good)
-Above with stock balancer $3700
-Nismo pump with stock sump and my jun baffling $2000, the nismo pump retains standard flow rate.
-External $3000 + sump mods
Im thinking external is the way to go..
(Car is used for street/ track and hill)
If you were building another 26, how would you safeguard it? Keeping in mind today's $ value

Been quite a few slow and painful month$..
But here's an update
Block & head has come back from Advan, finallyBare basics+
-Standard 05U block bored out 20thou over
-33 crank polished, linished & balanced
-Eagle rods
-HKS dove tail (think is the name) pistons
I've got an N1 oil pump here, not sure if I want to use it just yet ... thinking about going nitto or shelling out more for a Tomei... or shelling out even more for the group buy Red R/ Godzilla external pump. <.. Comments or advice
Leaning towards the external
No pics of the head, under wraps not allowed to un-wrap it

Hey Mitch,
Check the greenline parts site. They have Jun, tomei, nismo & N1 flow rates.
