hey dudes car was running mint up until i started to drift decided to take the car on a further angle than shes use to and all of a sudden she now has no speedo and looses power steering after about 20- 30 kmph? im thinking i have broken the speedo cable but can anyone else think otherwise? i have my hicas removed (all wiring removed and lock kit installed about 6 months before this problem working all 100%) oh yeah 1990 r32 gtst

no couldnt see what the duty cycle , dyno didnt show that, but the guy said theres prob no point as the car wasnt recieveing enough fuel?> im ordering a Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump will this do? where does the fuel pump go in the r32 rb20det is it easy enough to change over? once ive changed it over do i just reset the ecu and away we go?

sorry forgot to mention brought an safc to be installed but the safc is faulty and the lcd display wont light up so i had car chipped last night to remove fuel and speed cut etc and remap to 14psi

mods are r32 nissan skyline rb20det engine rb25det turbo running 0.85 bar 600x300x76 intercooler + piping pod filter greddy bov 4 inch exhast 111kw at the wheels took the car into beyond and the car started loosing power at 4500rpm (hitting 111kw at this point then staying at that the air and fuel ratio was at 16 (AFR:P 16) when at 4500 rpm and climbing i was told a new fuel pump and new fuel regulator should fix the problem and the car should see 180 - 200 kw what is your guys thoughts? whats the cheapest fuel pump and regulator you would recommend? if i even need to do this>?

hey dudes thanks for all your help ive been suggested to buy an afc or afc2, would this help too? im guessing this is what i need to 1. change spark plugs 2. check coil packs 3. install gtr injectors + fuel regulator (do i need a new fuel regulator if ive already got a gtr fuel pump installed and about to install these injectors) 4. dyno and ecu retune ive been told to back off the throttle and stay below 0.5 bar until my boost problem has been fixed from a retune

i have gtr injectors sitting next to me would u recommend putting these in with a new fuel regulator or something too? what type of spark plugs and what gap am i aiming for? 0.8mm? ngk or something? cheers

hey dudes i changed the unit over and i reset the ecu boost is now around 10 - 12 psi but im now loosing power and the engine is slightly popping at 4500 - 5500 rpm do i need to replace the injectors or fuel regulator or a retune or something? cheers

is it pretty hard to do??? i know how to take pipes off the car and unbolt stuff but do i need to set anything? cheers

hey dudes i have rb20det full inch exhast 600x300x76 intercooler + piping pod filter gtr fuel pump ecu (mines chip) and just installed new rebuilt rb25det turbo (by steve murch, new bearings still the same wheels) now before i installed the rb25det the original rb20det turbo was boosting 12psi (about 0.9 bar) i ran the car for the first time tonight with the rb25det turbo on and the cars power feels the same but its only boosting 0.55 bar??? Should i be buying a boost tap and cranking this to 1 bar (14.7psi)?? and getting what this turbo can really achieve? have i done something wrong? if i need a boost tap wat would be the cheapest recommendation??? any help would be great thx

hey dudes i have a r32 gtst with the following installed 2 door coupe rb20det (standard) gtr fuel pump 4 inch mandral bent exhast pod filter 600x300x76 intercooler + piping mines computer (im told by previous buyer not 100%) the car is currently running 12psi (0.8 bar) without a boost tap (i think its the mines ecu) car ran a 15.00 with the above mods less the intercooler now im told i should get a boost tap and regulator and wind the boost up to 16 - 17 psi then i should notice some more power? would this be the next mod for more power or not? even though the stock r33 turbo has been hybrid and has been upgraded to a steel wheel etc ? apparently can handle 350 hp now and my flatemate is a welder so he can prob do it for me for free hes just not sure how exzactley to do it

has anyone done this before? whats the benefits on mounting a external on the turbo exhast housing over the engine manifold? i have a 46mm wastegate rdy to be mounted onto a r33 turbo, has anyone done this or does anyone have any info or any pics please? cheers

hey man ive only got a exhast and fuel pump on the car at the moment the reast of those mods r sitting at home waiting to be put in all at once when u say hi flowed does that mean steel wheel etc? also whats the advantages and dis advantages over a ecu remap and spending 1500 on a computer?

oh yeh mainly for sound is what im aiming for with the wastegate but im gonna have the internal sealed
