  1. Really nice Stel! I love the color! I am thinking of going with these rims: http://www.svenskagrossisten.se/images/pirate.JPG Only bad thing is that they dont arrive until 6-8 weeks to the distr.
  2. Sounds like my problem to, currently running 12.3-12.5 psi, no problem for a while, but now it has started to act similar to what black_gtst's car is doing, very annoying, first i thought it might be a bad connected cable, but after reading this ill have a look at the sparkplugs!
  3. I would go with none at all, looks best in my opinion.
  4. Hey! Thanks for your comments! Still havent made up my mind, but for rims, im going for either black 8-spoke 18-inch (they have a nice red line on the following the edge of the rim which would go perfectly along with the red color) OR i'll go with something like this: http://www.nakayama.us/01_wheels/rss/wheels-main_fuji.jpg Anyways, here are some links to real 400R's with some different colors: http://www.jbskyline.net/Nismo400R/Showroom/Bilder/Bild8.php - Yellow, the yellow one i have in mind, a bit brighter wouldnt hurt though http://www.jbskyline.net/Nismo400R/Showroo...lder/Bild15.php - A white one, always nice, but not that intresting, and also, a friend of mine has a white R33, dont wanna compete with him http://www.jbskyline.net/Nismo400R/Showroo...lder/Bild16.php - A somewhat dull blue color http://www.jbskyline.net/Nismo400R/Showroom/Bilder/Bild1.php - And ofcourse the red one, not exactly the 'ferrari-red' i was thinking of I dont have any pics of a silver one, although i think i know that the 400R came with the KR4-Silver, a bit darker then mine. Candy apple red would be so nice, but the cost is a tad to high for me Quinny, would be great if you could do some photoshopping, ill try to find a good pic of one with the kit on! EDIT: found a guy who ones a JUN-Yellow one, with atleast a 400R-front: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/243072 Cheers!
  5. Im thinking of going for a 400R-bodykit (and hood) for my ECR33. Now im a bit split on what color to choose, either i go with the lightsilver-paint i have now, and put some nice(and big) red or blue decals on it. This would save me alot of money. Im also thinking of painting it red, sorta Ferrari-red, would look nice with some black or white rims. Earlier i was also thinking that JUN-yellow is a very nice color, could be really nice, or the very opposite. So what do you think? Cheers -David
  6. Hey! I installed a HKS EVC 3 a while ago, worked perfectly, but now its started to act weird: When the EVC is ON(i have no probs when its OFF) and it starts to build boost its building up in waves, not linear, and backfiring some, example starting with zero boost and then full throttle, in BAR: 0.0 0.2 0.3 0.4 0.35 0.5 0.45 0.6 0.55 etc. etc. up to about 0.9 bar of boost. Ive checked all the vacuumhoses and i cant find any leaks, but i might have just missed it. I have not done the turbo-selflearning procedure with the EVC since i dont know how to start it. Also, this problem arrived some hours after i started running higher octane fuel, using octane booster. What do you think?
  7. My '93 R33 GTST type M arrived to Sweden a few weeks ago, the boost gauge is broken, but i finished installing a HKS EVC III today, so that way i could see the boost anyway. Some things upgraded on the car is 5Zigen exhaust-system, HKS induction kit, apexi boost-gauge (the broken one ) The problem is that it hit 1.04 bar (about 15 psi) and there i backed of, not wanting to blow the turbo, or even worse (this was when the EVC was off, just showing boost). It doesnt look like the wastegate has been tempered with, i havent found any other boost-controller, nore have i found any leaks on any vacuum-hose, so simply i dont know how the boost is raised! So i was thinking that the turbo might have been changed to another one (along with the WG), but since i dont know how to recognize the factory turbo, i dont know if mine is or not, altough i have seen a 'NISSAN'-text on it. -David
  8. Thx for your answer! Sounds like it'll work good then, wont have time to check it out until the snow melts though, to slippery to get any boost
  9. Oh, by the way, it has stock pressure-piping. Cheers!
  10. I recently received my 1994 R33 GTS-t, it got 5Zigen exhaust-system, HKS induction kit, apexi boostgauge (unfortunetly it leaks, to be replaced) nismo adj. suspension etc. etc. Its still winter here with ALOT of snow everywhere, hopefully spring will hit in 1-2 weeks, so meanwhile im installing my HKS EVC III (3). Now, my 2 questions are: 1. One of the vacuum-hoses from the solenoid is supposed to be going directly to the intake, and according to the installation-manual NOT to the same hose as the Fuel pressure regulator, UNLESS it specifically said to do. Now my problem is that i've heared that the same goes for a boostgauge, "NOT to the same hose as the Fuel pressure regulator, UNLESS it specifically said to do", but my boostgauge is connected to the same hose as the FPR, and im wondering if that's right, and if im supposed to be using the same hose for the solenoid? 2. Another one of the hoses from the solenoid is supposed to be going to the turbo compressor-side or to the pressure-pipes BEFORE the intercooler. My problem here is that as far as i can see it doesnt have an appropriate vacuum-nipple on the turbo, or the piping before the IC, altough there is one close to the IC on the pipe from the IC to the intake, is this "to late" on the piping, or can i use this nipple? Hoping you can help me with these 2 problems! Cheers! -David
  11. Thx for all your answers, to bad i live on the other side of mother earth, Sweden, so it would be a bit to far to go just to get my manifold welded Anyway, hopefully theres some firms that do the same in my town!
  12. I was thinking the other day at work, since im probably going to upgrade the turbo and will probably be needing an external wastegate, wouldnt it be possible to modify the factory manifold on my R33 gtst-94 and TIG-weld a fitting for the ex. WG? I've got a MIG-welder, but ive heard that the manifold 'easily' cracks using that so ill have to look up someone around my town who can TIG it for me. Cheers!
  13. Im thinking of buying a fuelpump, its a Walbro pump, giving 255 litres/hour, at 60 psi (about 4 bar). Im receiving my R33 GTST soon, and i have no plans what so ever to keep it at those 250 hp for long. Im also looking for injectors (hopefully HKS or NISMO, fuelpressure-regulator (malpassi 1:2, 1:4), bigger turbo (might get a T04), intercoolerkit on the way etc. etc. will probably keep the internals standard for a while, altough i might change the headgasket for a HKS 1.2mm to be on the safe side. Anyways, what do you think, ill get the pump rather cheap so...? Cheers! -David
