If shell says it is not to be used on nissans made before 2004 there must be a reason. it may not be that it makes it run like a dog or lose power maybe it can have long term effects too.

Toped the car up at bp and has fixed the problem!

I have decided to keep the standard air box and put a k&n filter in. I had the box out the other day and discovered there is two inlets, one on top and one on the side. The one on the side is blocked of from the factory but the bung can be removed easy( this one draws cold air from inside the fender) this also helps with the induction noise and you can hear the standard blow off valves.

I spotted a R34 gtr (GTR 1) on gympie rd I was behind him. We must of turned some heads as we were both in bayside blue 34 gtr's

I put in the gtr and I lost kw. not very happy. on futher research i see it is not for post 2004 nissans.

has any one tried the new 100 octane fuel from shell?

just wanted to get so thoughts on air filters, I have a gtr and I am thinking about changing to a k&n pannel or pod filters, but want to know if there is any point to change to pods instead of just a k&n panel?

I imported it myself, I brought it back early dec and just got my hands on it on friday. Yesterday I saw an new EVO and you know I couldn't help myself but to give it some, HOLY SH*#T, It is a bloody quick car I gave myself Fright when I saw the speed I was doing!

Got my new car, soooooooo happy with it. its a R34 GTR blue! I had a R33 gts-t then sold it for a more family suitable car, so I thought the gtr is more reasonalbe it has a larger boot for the pram. lol

maybe you should fit some bigger injetors, you should be able to dial them in using the sfac-2, but if you have the bucks to spare then go for the ecu and injectors
