I'll be parked at Erina Shopping Centre Car Park (which holds at least 5000 cars) I have PFC, HKS Zorst, etc......Sparco Rims, Brand New rubber if you want to steal the best you'll see feel free to search the entire car park covering three levels and 5 sections on Thursday evening then beat the satellite tracking 3 point immobiliser and club lock. Have a go ya mug.... I still say your paranoid.......
-
You guys are all paranoid, as if car thiefs browse forums to see where you are parking your car..... That's pretty ridiculus.... I suppose you think cops browse the forums as well to find speeding cars.... hahaha

Attention Import drivers Thursday night sees the opening of Fast N Furious Tokyo Drift at the cinemas... A friend and myself are definately going to Erina Cinema thursday night to see it. (I know it's only Hollywood crap, but it's fun driving stuff) I've already convinced Michael_1882 to come along. The movie is on at Erina Hoyts at 9.30 Thursday evening, I suggest we get there by 9.10 just to be sure and we can have a chat before it starts as well...

Can someone confirm for me the Hub Nut size on a R33 GTST S2... It looks about 30mm and I have seen a post on here saying 30mm, can someone confirm this as I am borrowing a socket as I don't have larger than 22mm... Also I need to pull the hub bit that holds wheels studs out only 7-10mm to fit in 10mm longer studs do you think I can do this without having to completely remove the hub bit, that way I can just loosen hub nut and insert studs. I don't want ot have to repack bearings or anything...? Please

Brake Pad Codes
75coupe replied to Powers Lacking's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
The Bendix product book is wrong I have confirmed this with Bendix. They have since corrected the book but have not distributed it yet. I have posted this error and correction with the proper part numbers here on SAU before but didn't make a note of the numbers. Give Bendix a call they are aware of the problem, luckily the guy I spoke to own a R32 GTR and was familiar with the wrong numbers being listed. Give em a call on 1800 819 666 -

I need to change my wheel studs to 10mm longer ones.... Will I need a bit of experience in changing them. Admittedly the front seems a tad easier than the rear, is this correct? Will I be needing any special tools? Any advice would be appreciated, and if it has been spoken about before a link would be good as my searches for this have not been successful...

After talking to Nice Products they have confirmed for me that the correct part numbers for an R33 skyline are: http://www.niceproducts.com.au Front NS4530 Rear NS4570 I am rechecking these to be sure they are correct pitch and so forth.... Stud & Nut = $9 each (F-ing steep..!) I am asking if they will sell stud only as I have some nice nut wwhich were extremely hard to find, the studs are 72-75mm long.... Is it ok for me to cut these down you reckon?

I have replaced my rotors and pads recently with RDA rotors and Bendix Ultimates (dusty bastards). The one thing I found is that Bendix part catalogue has the wrong brake pads listed for the R33. I spoke to Bendix and they confirmed to me that their parts catalogue was wrong for R33 Skylines and that it was fixed but the new catalogues were not distributed as yet... The person at Bendix I spoke to owned a R32 GTR and said he had the same problem and that the part number he gave me was guaranteed to be right, sorry I didn't keep that part number for you... So I took em back and got them to order in the other ones...

I need to find longer wheel studs for my R33 S2 GTST... Where to go for them? What length is standard? Are R31 studs longer? Any help would be appreciated?

I am just fitting some sparco rims made by Crimson Inc. 17x8 17x9 the holes are pretty deep and only 22mm I wanted black as well to match black rim, which were hard to find.... You may need open ended to fit so deep without having to scratch them up by using a socket... I got a full set of open ended BLACK wheel nuts from BSA, ordered them directly from them... they have an allen key type fitting... These were a $1.20 each... Also the allen key came as a 19mm socket adapter for $3... Only prob now is my wheel studs are a tad short, only 5-10mm so I will need new wheel studs as well... BSA contact: 9584 3013 Ask for Mick, He was able to find them and give me full specs and order them for me as well and also packed the box and courier to me...

Thanks for the ideas.... Unforunately the spark plug socket is useful for these things usually but since these are brand new painted rims I want no reason for them to get damaged in the nut well area... I have used spark plug sockets in the past and they work to a point, but it will still scratch the paint if your not careful, plus the holes I have to get a nut into is 22mm so I will need nuts no larger than 20mm really.... I have found BSA has black nuts avilable in the open ended format I need, that is basically a wheel lock nut that needs a particular shape drive to tighten or remove them.... These may be the answer $1.50 each and $3 for the driver to use them... these sound like just the normal security nuts that you get one for each wheel, but if it works, Just have to make sure they are correct taper angle, or dosen't that really matter?
-
Thanks for those specs.. Do they come in black....?
-
All tyre shops I have been too can only get silver ones... That's why the Greddy is the other option as they come in black... I know I'm being picky...

Anyone Else Using Rda Brake Parts
75coupe replied to tacker's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I installed some RDA slotted rotors on my R33 S2 GTST with Bendix Ultimate pads... They seem fine good for the money... -
I've got some new rims. 17x8 17x9 the nuts will need to be hex type open ended...and black to go with my completely black rims... The holes allow 22mm for the for the nuts, Does that mean I would be at maximum 20mm nuts? Anyone had any experience with this. I can get silver ones at my local tyre place but black is hard to find. I found Greddy Black open ended, it said everything but the outside diameter of the nut, so I am unsure if they will fit the hole...the Greddy ones are hex shape to accommodate use of a socket as well as hex open ended, imagine if they're 21mm when the nut is fitted it would only have .5 mm movement before it start to scratch... My experience in the past with painted rims is to be careful what nut you use as when the tyre guy comes along with his rattly rattle gun and big socket he may start stripping paint unless he has the right thin walled socket. These mags will need to be open ended...

Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them
75coupe replied to ZigenGT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Actually a tyre store I went to for prices was trying way too hard for me to buy Yoko V103 or ES100 around $340-$365 255/40/17's that's fitted. He just kept saying "no they are the best..." and he wouldn't quote me on anyhting else. I personnally think they are too new to have been proven yet... I haven't heard much about them... -
R33 Gtst 2 Way Diff (new)

Where are you located? -
I have a S2 R33 GTST my friend has a S2 R33 GTST He has an what we think is the abs unit passenger side rear of engine bay just behind front strut top. He has 4 hydraulic lines going to/from it across back of engine bay. I have 2 hydraulic lines going across back of engine bay and no abs unit there is a space and two holes where it should bolt. Does this mean I don't have an abs unit or does anyone know if the abs unit was placed elsewhere on some. Should I get one is it worthwhile, do some people remove it for drifting... A bit of topic but my carcoal cannister is just behind front spoiler way down low. My friends is beside the fuse box in engine bay. It's slight differences that make skylines very interesting and damn annoying..
