  1. maybe try a tile saw or a diamond blade in a wet saw?
  2. and I could use this fc-hako to change fuel maps between 98 and E85? I am right in thinking there is no other way to change fuel maps other than hook up a PC to the powerFC?
  3. I will be using similar routing for the oil feed line and Im using the flame proof sleeve from mscn... http://www.mscn.com.au/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=495 it was recommended to me by another SAU member... nice wrap job on the manifold btw..
  4. will it be a problem flashing your headlights as when you flash the hi-beams the low be does turn off yeah? is that bad for the lights being projector hid? its illegal right to have the low beam stay on while the hi-beam is on, yes? This group buy idea is making me hold fof on all other purchases for the 33 now you realise, until I know how much of my monthly mod budget will be taken up by this one... Should we be looking at headlight protectors as well now? since they would be glass, Id be worried about stones hitting my nice new glass lenses...
  5. oh yeah no angel eyes... tacky...
  6. did I say Im in? well yeah keen as...
  7. I believe its just the indicatior/fog light 'covers' that will be replaced with a CF version, so the lights remain as they are currently.
  8. This will probably be the most monumental group by ever... cant wait...
  9. this is awesome... will it get cheaper with the more people we get in on the group by??? I cant wait to see the price
  10. oh this is exciting... thanks PM-R33
  11. would they be reconditioning/cleaning the lense as well or just fitting the projectors? I guess it would depend on wheather it ends up being a DIY kit or the full service...
  12. a cheap series 2 headlight... would they need both? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...T#ht_500wt_1036
  13. that sounds very promising, good work...
  14. yep group buy would be great... projectors for 33s has been brought up many times I reckon we could easily get 10+ people involved... maybe we could make it a part of the group buy to send a headlight to someone who can fabricate the surrounds... anyone got some time to look into this, Ive watch some retrofit videos but Im sure there are more knowledgeable people than I..
  15. If it would be a full replacement and not just a cover I would be interested depending on cost of course...
  16. PM sent regarding ganador mirrors.... oh and I just sent email to the email address listed sorry bout that....
  17. yep stainless steel security mesh, I went to a security door place and got an offcut, then measured it up cut it with a cutting disc on grinder and got a fab shop to bend it so it fit snug on the back of my S2 front bar... in black looks sweet and nothing is going to damage that stuff... autobarn mesh is an utter joke... looks cheap aint strong at all and tacky anodised colours
  18. stay silver.... I dont think anything else will look as good...
  19. does it get driven....?? imagine the cost in those rear tyres, 365 wide semis....omg... awesome car... I bet now he is right into cars... well at least that one...
  20. how many years will go on for? The workshop in the US has had the car for over two years already...
  21. I was thinking he was american, that would explain the high horsepower RWD with an auto and also why the build is in USA... Surely an Aussie would get the build done here... although a supra with 1500hp, on the drag strip with full interior and a stereo blasting and ripping 10s would be killa, but who reckons this car will never see the road... the guy is so anal I think he would be devastated if it got some dust on it let alone dirty from driving it, hell the inside of the bellhousing on the trans looked polished... An amazing build though, castle hill toyota must be very surprised, they supplied most of the OEM parts....
  22. after all of that its going to be an auto.... why...?? Imagine just asking Mr Nissan for a quote for all the interior pieces for your skyline. I dare someone to get a quote... I dont have the time... but it would be a funny out-of-this-world quote.... its page after page of parts in plastic bags with toyota parts stickers... omg... I know a few personal trainers and they aint that well off, like thats scary carefree spending...
  23. cool there we go, fire resistant sleeve ordered.... 1m should cover all three lines I reckon. thanks radiator upgrade on order. Any other cooling suggestions...
  24. thanx, sounds like I could be getting a tad pedantic then, has anyone wrapped the exhaust manifold? Looks like it would be a tuff part to wrap properly, 1in wide wrap or thinner???
