  1. werd... Now everybody say: Awww...
  2. Have you tried the ignitor / PTU up the back of the cam cover?
  3. Just stirring you up champion!
  4. I'm open to shift kits from either place... Quality, service and price will be the deciding factor for me... FWIW I've had good results from MV in the past but anything reccomended by Bu5ter rates high on my list too...
  5. Have a look under the bonnet at the blue build plate... If it says RE4R01A then I suspect you will be in luck... You may want to confirm with MV or Keas though...
  6. Cue dodgy web cam photo from Joshwa...
  7. Cheers mate... The more info the better...
  8. Cheers Bobby... The MV kit is a replacement valve body as opposed to a separator plate... I wonder what the pros and cons are...
  9. The feeling is mutual...
  10. Yeah I think it will be fine for a little while longer... But it's not server load... This thread definately takes longer to load / post in / refresh, than a thread with only 1 or 2 pages... It's only a couple of seconds though (10 max)... PS: Your just protective of your postcount too

    you rang?

    [shaggy]Wasn't me...[/shaggy]
  17. There may be slight differences... IE input shaft size, bearing sizes, etc... I dunno... But the basic hydraulic mechanism (what you modify with a shift kit) should be the same... I do believe you can get different "stages" of shift kit... I think the type we are talking about would be referred to as a stage 1... It's just a changed valve body and some stiffer springs I'd imagine... Stage 2 would be the same but with full manual control only... Not sure what's required to do this... Stage 3 would be as above but with a transbrake... But I could be way off so no quoting me!
  18. I know dude... That was me weak as comeback...
  19. Cheers nedb... So it seems we all have the same transmission... So the shift kit "should" fit 32's, 33's, 34's and Stageas...
  20. Yeah that's right Jay... The numbers define the ratio IIRC... Mine says RC43 and I have a 4.3:1 ratio... Sooo, using my marvelous powahs of deduction, I've deduced that you have a 4.0:1 ratio...
  21. Wife? I aint married...
  22. cant make it... blew my license...
  23. Nice... They are good value when your bored... Couple of links that might come in handy: http://members.optusnet.com.au/extremescan...n/austpage.html http://users.ion.com.au/~young/ http://www.alphalink.com.au/~parkerp/scan.htm
  24. nevah!
  25. Thinking out loud here... I was abit sceptical that the RE4R01A came in the R32, as the hold / power / od features are different to the R33... But then I thought, if the same trans is in the R34's, which have the tiptronic control, then it's probably just the auto ECU's that are different... Can someone with an auto 32 have a look under their bonnet at the blue build plate and confirm the model of auto for us please?
