It's all good mate... Each to there own... I'm sure YOU think it looks good... I've always had a thing against tri spokes after I read a technical article that discussed the relationship between number of spokes and weight vs strength vs aesthetics... Apparently 3 spokes was about as bad as you could get, 12 was severe overkill, and 7 was about the optimum...

From what I understand the reliability / longeivity of the auto should, if anything, increase rather than decrease due to less slipping between the clutch bands... As 4door_sleeper mentioned above, the harshness of the shift really depends on how hard your pushing the throttle pedal...
