  1. It's not my sausage! It's Col's!
  2. Looks good Pred... I took a Passage for a "test drive" a few years back and while I was stunned at the level of interior trickery for an "old" car, I wasn't overly impressed with the NICS RB20DET... With a fresh silver top in there, that thing would go like a champion... Glad to see you've seen the light re sedans too
  3. Perhaps some sausage?
  4. Col your a man of many mysteries... Here is some soap you could use:
  5. Good advice from the Prof as usual...
  6. Sounds good mate... Keep us posted...
  7. Nup this was coming home at 4.30...
  8. Stuff is fine... Try bloody riding in it at 120... Get's bloody cold, bloody quick...
  9. Exit 38 northbound on the M1 Slide... Straight through the first roundabout and you'll drive right by Yatala Pies...
  10. A low mount usually refers to a turbo using the stock exaust manifold or a design very similar... In this case the turbo "hangs" from the manifold and is basically below the head of the motor... A high mount refers to a turbo using a custom exhaust manifold where the turbo sits on top of the manifold and is basically in line with or above the head of the motor... Low mounts usually refer to a bolt on turbo setup... High mounts require a fair amount of fabrication to fit the turbo and are usually only used when the required turbo is not available in a bolt on kit, when converting from twin turbo to single, or when the stock exhaust manifold becomes restrictive... Corrections welcome... Hope that helps...
  11. Sounds good but damn what an effort... What's the award? It better not be some shitty trophy
  12. OK cool but have you compared your car pre PowerFC to an auto 33 running the stock (auto) ECU... I'm just thinking out loud here so don't take offence but perhaps your car originally had a manual ECU, hence the reason you didn't notice a change in shift quality... Every single test I've done on auto 33's with a replacement ECU has resulted in a change in shift quality...
  13. Hell no! I was about the only one who wanted it to stay!! It wasn't even me who asked the admins to remove it...
  14. Yeah I know... I'm going to edit it out eventually... I miss Fight Club No stickers, a smallish crack that is not visible from the drivers seat... It is well within the actual body of the car... And the carbon end plates are easily 5mm thick, they just aren't rounded... Good point... Thanks for the info mate!
  15. Thanks for the hot tip...
  16. Yep true that... And here I was trying to convince Trina it was a bad idea to head to the Spit on Sunday arvo... So she went out for takeaway and what happens? Jealous cops go on a powertrip...
  17. It was definately the STTF... It's on the attachement in the first post... And I'm positive if I was driving I would have been right royally raped...
  18. Probably best off trying for a 2nd hand Jap cat back in the WTB section or one of the numerous import spares places around... And then grab a dump and cat from BATMBL on these forums... Fit it all your self in your garage and I reckon you'd have change from $1000... Cut corners dodgy //GC style and you'll have change from $500

    Thoughts?

    Nice rant Erin...
  20. Details...
  21. That is a good idea...
  22. Very nicely thanks for asking...
  23. OMG Ska you haven't lived!!!
  24. Have you compared the shift quality to a non PowerFC auto 33 before you had the shift kit?
  25. That sounds perfectly normal to me mate... Mine does the exact same thing... If / when it pings, you will get a reading of around 80+ for the duration of the pinging... A reading of 0 whilst accelerating is fine and to be expected with the SAFCII... You may find your idle knock reading will go as high as 30 when the car has been driven for more than a few hours during the day... This too is normal...
